Nasal Pillows
Nasal pillows are small cone shaped cushions that are used in conjunction with a nasal pillow interface to deliver positive airway pressure therapy. The pillows seal, and rest on the outside rim on your nostrils. This type interface delivers therapy with significantly less contact with one's face.Nasal pillow interfaces are very popular among CPAP users. Brands of nasal pillow masks include The Breeze Sleep gear, by Puritan Bennett, the Aura by AEIOmed and the Resmed Mirage Swift Nasal Pillow System.

nasal pillows
I have been enjoying sleep for the past month now.....I have the ResMed Mirage Swift Nasal Pillow System....
I can't believe how wonderful I feel....even when I don't sleep alot, I still wake up without a headache (I HAD thought that that was normal).
I didn't realize that this was here to discuss c-paps and apnea. I thought I was all alone. I have gotten much information here and I appreciate it!
I have my first follow-up tomorrow and am looking forward to seeing the offical results of my sleep study.
Here's to good, restful sleep!!

So what term do you use to describe interfaces like Snapp, NasalAire, and Infinity? Are these nasal pillows also? If so, the description offered is incorrect as Snapp and NasalAire have significant insertion into the nares, not just sealing and resting on the outside rim of the nostrils.
