stuck for imagery...help!!!
I read the book (kind of quickly as I had it checked out of the library). I would like to implement some of the ideas to help my insomnia. However, I am kind of confused/stuck about the imagery and therefore the TFI thing. I do think alot, no argument there. I'm not sure if my emotions are out of wak (but most would probably consider me an emotional person so I'm not sure if you can be 'emotional' but still have the emotions part out of wak in the TFI system). But back to the imagery thing...I find it almost impossible to imagine something in my brain. I am fairly imaginative and creative (can draw...if I am copying something in front of me...never ever been good at drawing anything from memory or even doodling, play piano etc). But if I look at something and try to picture it with my eyes closed...visually...black...and trying to think about what it looks like...i can think about the details of what it looks like...how do you get an image. Am I just thinking too hard? And what kind of image are we talking about. Do you SEE a fuzzy image of what you are thinking about (rather than having a thought about what it looks like)? Do you actually see a clear image in front of your eyes while closed of the image? I really don't get it...
