DSM:
I have no doubt about the genuine nature of SleepGuy's free-trial offer and, I don't think that he is TRYING to offend anyone. My contention is this:

With a product designed for a small, niche market, excluding any group of buyers within the niche is unwise.

The Pur-Sleep guy has pointed out that he would incur about a $10. additional charge to ship to Canada over the $2.50 charge to ship within the US. This is a cost that the recipients of the product might have been willing to pick-up just so that they could try the product. Too bad that SleepGuy didn't see fit to offer that up. Advertising, and building goodwill within a customer group, costs some money -a smart retailer knows this.

As it is, I already own the original Pur-Sleep product and I do applaud SleepGuy in his efforts to grow his business and have it be successful. I continue to applaud him in this and hope that his new design avoids the criticisms that he has received in the past. Hopefully, he will make his million!

I know that there are lots of private messages that go back and forth between forum members about topics of interest. Some of those messages are between the "niche" members mentioned above. Not everyone posts their comments in the public forum but, if one posts, it is a pretty good bet that others are also thinking the same thing. So, in this case, if Sleep Guy does not want to include non-USA customers in his giveaway, he might find that his product won't be purchased at full price by the non-USA customers. Perhaps this does not matter to him at all, who knows? I still wish him well and hope that his product is successful, but it won't be me buying one.

I just got it yesterday. Thanks. Found an interesting positive side effect. The smell of the spice helped my wife fall asleep faster as well. The exaust doesn't blow directly on her, but with the fan going in the room, the exaust was blown towards her. She loves it and is looking for me to buy a big bottle of spice so she can create a "satchel" for under her pillow.

I will report more later after some more trials.
