President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Nice, very nice. One can only hope that your prospective non-USA customers remember this kind gesture when the product is available for sale.
Will and others: Nothnig personal here. This is a free trial and domestic postage is abut $2.50 while mail to Canada just went up--it's about $12. If I were in Canada it would have been the opposite.

arthuranxious wrote:Excuse my awking, but what is this sleep diffuser? To diffuse usually means to break up into small particles, and isn't sleep already too diffused? Is this a contraption used instead of cpap... please explain.
The Pur-Sleep System is a line of holistic aromatherapy products designed specifically for use in connection with all types CPAP equipment. The Diffuser lightly scents the air with one of nine natural aromatic blends (pure essential oils) as the air is drawn into CPAP equipment. Pleasant smells induce strong feelings of calm, comfort, and relaxation. The sense of smell is part of the brain's emotional centers (the limbic system), the same part of the brain responsible for feelings of stress and anxiety. Nothing improves mood better than good smells.

Unlike the other senses, smell is a chemical sense--it's based upon our olfactory perception of the presence of combinations of aromatic molecules, initiating a cascade of physiological and emotional responses that occur whether or not the person is conscious of the presence of the smell.

Cognitive distraction--the ability to focus on a single stimulus and ignore others--is a prominent feature of the sense of smell. The Pur-Sleep System allows you to focus your attention on a smell you find to be pleasant while ignoring unpleasant aspects of your CPAP (the mask, noise, etc.). Many people find it highly relaxing to enjoy a light scent of real French lavender, orange & clove, vanilla, tangerine & lime, peppermint, ylang ylang, etc. in their cpap. It sure beats cpap plastic or the "new car smell" from vinyl chloride.

Most pediatric anesthesiologists use pleasant smells to reduce anesthesia mask anxiety and the same idea holds true in CPAP therapy. Scented adult anesthesia masks are also becoming more popular for the same reasons.

I would be very interested in hearing more about this product.

I have always taken my own pillow with me whenever I travel because I felt the smell of home from the pillow made me sleep better. I just realized, after a week in a hotel, while wearing a mask all I can smell is the mask, hose and machine. I was going to post and ask about using tiny amounts of essential oils to scent the mask and hose.

Please let us know how the trials go and when the product will be available.
Thanks
Shari

Shari:

The product is available now at http://www.pur-sleep.com

This is a new diffuser that sleepguy has made available for trail.

I have be using the this product for 2+ months and my sleep and compliance, thought not perfect, is way ahead of my xpap experience prior to pur-sleep.

I have a fragrance intolerance, but the pur-sleep essential oils have not bothered me or my sleep.

Best regards,

Fred

Shari,

Pur-Sleep products are currently available for sale, both on the pur-sleep website (http://www.pur-sleep.com) and on https://www.cpap.com (which is actually cheaper than the website).

There's a lot more information about the pur-sleep products on the website.

Ihave been using the pur sleep product for over a year, I really like it. I did prefer the old diffuser system which is no longer available but I decded to try the new one and bought it. I like it a lot, I do prefer to put the scented oils on the old felt pads(personal preference) since I likea stronger scent. I think you will enjoy the product as much as I do. pat

Will,

That he is making a genuine offer & not trying to offend anyone.

Speaking for myself, am surprised that anyone might feel in anyway put out by his offer which was well clarified by his US only statement.

Being in Australia I am excluded but am in no way put out by that. I am happy I comprehend the nature and openness of his trial offer even if it leaves me out.
