I deleted those nasty comments!! I am a little sick and tired of the nonsense, but REALLY sick and tired of watching 1500 people standing around and letting it happen!!

OK, while I understand that there may "extenuating circumstances" with the offending poster, and if so, would be sympathetic to that, but nonetheless, people still need to be accountable for their actions. A cancer in the organism needs to be excised. If Dr. Jekyll wants to post, fine. If Mr. Hyde shows up, then those entries should be deleted. I think that's a very reasonable, sympathetic and generous arrangement.

The person that deleted them short of forumadmin should lose their DELETE privileges for deleting my non-SPAM posts! that is the rule here, I did NOT make the rules. There was nothing in those posts that were attacking anyone.

Ask akcpapguy, I have no quams with him, my deleted posts simply stated why DME's are not well received here, simple as that, I was stating the way it is.

So no one is hiding anything, ask anyone I SAY what is on my mind, if they don't like it they can can kiss my ass very simple policy.

So we have CPAPTalk casualty no 1, akcpapguy is leaving.

Then "Mr Hyde" gets unhappy and blasts at akcpapguy.

But then StillAnotherGuest gets unhappy at the blast and deletes "Mr Hydes" posts so we loose whatever it was (nice or not) that Mr Hyde said.

So most probably "StillAnotherGuest" loses spam deleting priveliges. A casualty.

And "StillAnotherGuest" talks about leaving, a possible casualty

And most probably people are getting unhappy at what "StillAnotherGuest" did.

So maybe we should get into two camps, "for and against Mr Hydes right to post"and fight some more.

Its all escalating and the idea of helping each other about sleep apnea seems to be forgotten as we take sides, have and express opinions and get unhappy.

Is this really what we want to do ?

What Gandhi did was go on a starvation diet to stop the fighting between the Hindu's and the Moslems.
Do I need to stop using my CPAP machine until the fighting stops

Seriously.What I am learning is that criticism results from the criticizer being in pain over something the criticizer did.

The pain that akcpapguy may have got into by having to stop making contributions to this board.

The pain that "Mr Hyde" must be in about akcpapguy's posts.

The pain that StillAnotherGuest must have felt when he saw "Mr Hyde's" posts.

Our collective pain in watching this fight go on and seeing the casualties mount up.

Can we give a little slack to each other, understand that we are all human and make mistakes and get back to helping each other with our Sleep Apnea?

I have a serious problem with "censorship".
If we can delete "mean" posts.....can we delete "stupid" posts?, LONG posts?, posts about ResMed equipment?, Resprionics equipment?, P & B equipment?, posts with links to other sites? Where does it end?

I always thought "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me".......

I kinda figure that a person's words (if left for posterity) will show them for what they are. ("The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly")

first of all what was nasty about them posts for you to delete them? other than the truth of general statements? or is it lmmo works in your Sleep Center and you are only protecting your own employees?

People that come here are patients they are not doctors, RT's or own a sleep center.

Just because you are affliated with a Sleep Center you don't want to hear anything said negative about them? Those posts were general comments about typical brick and mortar DME practices. Did you suddenly open up your own DME business?

Hell if anything I support you guys more than anyone here. I'm not the first one that suggests their "PSG titration is off" I always tell them to refer back to it.

Tell us SAG, is participating in 3-4 CPAP forum boards are not enough for you?

you see I'm not held to any professional medical ethics, so I can say what I want, it comes with the country I live in.

I share my experience with this disorder when someone asks for it, may not always be the right answer but it is not that far off either. I know you are going to try and pull that medical advice argument out of your hat, but I'll refer you to what it says at the bottom in advance.

I sat back and watched you RIP frequenseeker over and over again in that AdaptSV thread. SHE was only sharing her personal experience. SHE was the one that first brought that Harvard study to TAS. SHE was the one that reported back her progress at every step along the way. And she got publicly creamed for it by you.

So what makes you any different? I only attack people AFTER they have attacked me, you attack them out of the blue when they disagree with your viewpoint.

There is not many rules here and I try to follow the ones that are, the only rule I know of in place is you are not supposed to delete others posts unless they are SPAM.

Some of you have too high expectations for sleep-deprived people. Get over it.

Had I known this would turn into such a large discussion I would have made the subject that in the first place.

My decision was not based on any posts made by members, but strictly based on the reasons stated earlier in this thread. I didn't even see the posts by Snoredog that were deleted (not by Snoredog) in this thread. I have even appreciated many of the posts that he has made on this board, YES you read that right.

So this was not a akcpapguy vs. Snoredog issue!

Edit: Oh and this WILL be my last post in this subject and my last post under this nick! No Snoredog you can't bait me back into this thread!
