I think the mask switching idea is a great one. I am sure many of us have masks we will never use and they are quite expensive. Thanks for suggestion Barb.

Any ideas on an after party site? Preferably not anything too fancy or pricey, for our less affluent members (i.e. ME!).

Cheers,
B.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

I would have liked to go, but I've got a previous commitment on June 2nd, however, so can't make it. Maybe I can catch the next one. Please post if you feel it was helpful/educational or not!
Thanks!

We certainly will let you know! Trust me - if I drive up to Seattle for a lame-o event, I will be whining long and loud!

But honestly, the chance to meet up with SleepySandy alone will make it all worth it.

AND... the offer stands - if you are in Pierce County, you can ride with me. If you are out of area, and want to take the train up to Tacoma, I'll pick you up. First come, first served. Subaru seats 4 and I only have room for 2 more.

ALSO, if you are out of area and need a cheap crash, lemme know. I got a queen size futon and a queen size Aero bed. I won't feed you. Don't worry about that.

LOL,
Barbara

Just occurred to me - why don't we just go to the Swedish Med Center cafeteria? They won't mind, and then we can order or not order as we please.

Don't scream. Hospital cafeterias have come a long way in the last few years! My mother RAVES about the UW Med Center cafe. She has to take my dad up there for frequent checks on his cochlear implant.

Anyway, how's that sound to everyone? Meet up after at the cafeteria for mask party?

Cheers,
Barbara

Lol, this is going to be hilarious. I can tell already.

They throw what they think is a local thing and a bunch of us swoop down from out of nowhere and attack their cafeteria.

Just bumping this thread. Anyone that can get to Seattle this Saturday, there's a free workshop on cpap, complete with a vendor fair, and an "after party" where several of us are getting together to try on each other's masks.

PM me for details. If you can't make the workshop, maybe you can make the after party!

Cheers,
Barbara

Hey I would love to come, but unfortunately Seattle is a far piece from the mountains of Virginia.
Next get together let's make on the Right coast and I will be there with bells on.

Wishing you all the fun in the world when you get together.

Hey, next time I'm in Virginia, it'll be WILLIAMSBURG, and ya'll will have to come dressed appropriately in 18thC costume AND masks & hoses!

Wahhhh, I want to go!

Take pictures and post them? Also, could you find out whether this workshop has any kind of a travelling schedule and post it?

Thanks, and have a great time!

Oh Cathy, I think it's just that particular sleep center's regular thing. They do these every couple of months. You might call around the sleep centers in your area and find out of they do them.

BTW - it's not MY sleep center... It's SleepySandy's. She says it's worth the drive to Seattle to get their fabulous service.

Cheers,
Barbara

Ok, fine, I'm coming.

I'll bring all the masks I want to sell too. I'll accept any reasonable offer. Non-smoking home, barely used, etc.

That means:
Soyala Medium
F&P 431 Medium
UMFF Medium
Breeze Sleep Gear (3 sizes)
SomnoPlus Medium

I'll bring my Twilight NP too, but ain't NOBODY getting that off me.

I'll bring some freebies too.
