Seattle Area Folks - Workshop

Post by SleepySandy » Wed May 23, 2007 11:37 am

There's a workshop in Seattle June 2 you might be interested in.

This workshop is your opportunity to:
Learn more about the best therapy for treating sleep apnea
See the latest equipment used in sleep-apnea therapy
Get answers to questions from specialists who treat sleep apnea
Gain valuable information from other sleep-apnea patients

Since we keep getting spammed I'm not going to list the location details here. PM me if you're interested and I'll send the info.

We might get to meet after all!

Unfortunately I have commitments that keep me away that day. Sounds like it might have been interesting, even if only to put faces to some of the names here

I'm planning to go. Should I put "Babette" on my name badge?

Or maybe I should just wear one of my costumes?

LOL,
B.

Very Attractive Avatar, Teri!

Hey, check your PM. I'll send you the info Sandy sent me.

Maybe we could carpool? I'm in Lakewood and have a Subaru that doesn't get the GREATEST gas mileage...

Cheers,
B.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

I wish I could go. Turns out that I will be out-of-state that weekend. But luckily the hospital does the workshop once a month, so I'll try and attend next month. I'm curious if it's just a marketing ploy or an opportunity to get valuable info & tips? If anyone goes, please report back.

Thanks!

Bumping this up again - if you're in the Seattle area I think it's worth considering. Of course, I haven't been to the workshop so I really don't know for sure...

PM me and I'll send the info.

Blarg, I have a queen sized futon and a queen sized inflatable bed, and your very welcome to come stay in Tacoma for free, if the back and forth is too much for one day.

AND/OR, the train ride is very nice - I can pick you up at the train station and you can carpool up with Teri and I. My Subaru Outback seats 4 comfortably!

AND... Anyone want to go out AFTER the workshop for a mask switching party? Maybe we can just go to the local diner and get a big booth and order endless coffees and try on masks? Of course, anyone who wants to come but not play mask switch is welcome, too. Not everyone is comfortable putting other people's germs on their own faces. Me, I'm so desperate to find The Perfect Mask that I don't care. Maybe one of us could bring a box of those citri wipes...

PM me or we can chat about it here!

Cheers,
Barbara
