Obviously everyone is different and different things work for them. I have only been on CPAP for 2 months (later this week, hooray!).

I have only used one mask ever, even in my two sleep studies and it was a FF mask. I got used to it immediately, I sleep on my side (about 4 hours on one side, then 4 on the other - give or take), I have a beard and it seals very well, in all positions and isn't uncomfortable.

I have heard some people have trouble getting used to the FFmask, because of the feeling that it is closing in on them, but I have heard that if you can wear the mask around the house for a while it is something that you can easily get used too. For me, my wife calls me a jet pilot when I wear it and oh well, there might be kids present so never mind the rest...

Mark, that's a great line! I think you just sold FF masks to many men on this forum!

Maybe if ya'll played the soundtrack to "Top Gun" on the bedroom CD player, and then... well, ahem...

LOL,
B.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

oh how I love this forum. I agree with Babette, there will be a run on FF masks soon. Everyone is so down to earth here, I cannot help but feel welcome.
