I have been using an auto-bipap for 18+ years. Consistently I have AHI of less than one. It still makes me smile when I see 0.0 on my data screen.
Bragging? Yes, but also encouraging others that it does happen, even after all these years. For me it just took finding the right mask, right machine and right pressure.

for the newbies: while we celebrate zero, we don't chase it.

Re: AHI 0.0
I also hit 0.0 a few days a month, and most other days are 0.2-0.5. Once in a while I will have a night with 1.2 or so, but I don't really feel different.
My sleep doc looks at my data each visit, and while he is pleased, he also says not to chase low AHI for the sake of the number.

Re: AHI 0.0
Congrats my friend! Years ago my pressure needs were low enough (11) that I could tolerate a pressure that nearly totally eliminated my events. As my needs crept up over the years I'm not willing to use a pressure high enough to accomplish that. These days I think my AHI hangs around 2, though honestly I haven't checked my machine in the mornings for years. Pull the SD card every 6 mos to a year or so. Think I'll figure out how to check it again, just for the fun of it.
Good to see your name pop up.
