We can blame Philips all we want but people need to realize who the real customer is in all this and who Philips really wants to keep happy and who started this whole encryption mess....and it wasn't Philips worried about patients who go changing settings based on software results.
Doctors and DMEs....that's the real customer and who Philips wants to make happy.
They are the driving force behind the new restrictions in regards to data availability or hell, even the changes in the machine settings that patients no longer have access to and are forced to contact the ever elusive "Care Orchestrator" for something as simple as auto on/off feature. Geezzzz... What's next? Mark my words this is just the beginning of things that we as patients are going to see happen that we don't like.

Care Orchestrator...fancy name for DME or doctor access software.
Remains to be seen just how detailed it might be and good luck getting any patients to have access to it.
I can hear them now...."we will handle everything. You don't need access and won't understand it anyway" ....
"DreamMapper gives you all you need to know and we will handle the rest".. Pardon me while I don't hold my breath.
The medical profession still living in the dark ages where patients are considered too stupid to manage their own care.
This stuff isn't the rocket science they try to make it out like it is.
FWIW...which I know in the grand universe of cpap stuff isn't much....I am so pissed at this attitude from everyone involved. Never ever will I recommend any sort of Respironics product to anyone.
Everyone...go to the apneaboard link above and read the entire letter from "Mikel" that is posted.
What a load of BS.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.
