What a waste of my time answering your question since you already have your mind made up anyway.
I removed my post in case anyone is wondering. My good experience with cpap.com isn't worth talking about.
Good luck finding someone who hasn't made someone unhappy.
Won't be wasting any more of my time here.

Have a nice day.

The OP probably WROTE one (or more) of the bogus bad reviews on yelp . . .
Online "reviews" are notoriously unreliable.
Some sites are full of suspiciously glowing reviews put up by agents of the sellers,
and bad reviews put up by agents of the competition.
Sometimes the tip-off is multiple posts with too much similarity in style, content, etc.
Too many people make a LIVING by lying.
Times are just that tough, kiddo.

Thanks for sharing that experience. I read their reviews on yelp and other places and there's too many red flags which are consistent with one another to risk it. Some real horror stories and they span years and up until last month... I could overlook mistakes or defects in equipment but how these customers were handled is outrageous. Sorry I was hoping to find better, maybe 1 or 2 outlier poor reviews would be fine, but I found way too much for my comfort. The search continues or its my local DME again.

https://www.yelp.com/biz/cpap-com-staff ... rating_asc
Yelp reviewers gave cpap.com 4.5 out of 5.0 stars.

In any case, you should go somewhere else to be unhappy.

I WROTE nothing, I READ the reviews on yelp and numerous other places on cpap.com and saw many good ones but more than enough red flags.

This is, very much, an internet forum in all its glory, so Im not surprised at having true links deleted, and the kind of nonsensical guff I am getting from SOME other members.

If it were one or two bad reviews I would have let it go, but its hard to fake that many bad reviews with similar complaint, different writing styles, and the amount of painful detail people shared about that resource.

I think that cpap.com probably makes 95% of customers happy simply because most machines are well made and most orders are easy to simply fulfill. Its when the problems happen, machine problem, order mistake, etc, that the nightmares begin.

Which is exactly WHY I asked here BEFORE buying my next machine remotely.

No one is deleting any links here....not me no matter how much I might want to.

If a link isn't working then it is because it was posted in a manner that broke it....this happens all the time and it's user error as the cause.
Often happens when someone quotes someone else and the quote function doesn't include the entire link.

Now if a forum member who posted a link decides to remove the link in their post.....that might happen and it is well within the poster's right to edit their post in any manner they see fit.

The fact that you repeated the same point, suggests you don't really understand the significance of stating absolute numbers, in a statistic like this.

1 or 2 poor reviews is completely meaningless unless one knows how many incidents it's drawn from.

If a company sold 10 products and had 2 poor reviews, that's significant, at least 20% of sales ended poorly.

If a company sold 1,000,000 products had 200 poor reviews, that's insignificant. Only 0.02% of the sales ended poor enough for the customer to rate a review.

Sounds like you'd do business with the company with a 20% unhappiness percentage, because they only had 1 or 2 poor reviews.

The fact that you accept an anonymous description as fact, re-enforces significant naivity about online reviews.

Not sure what links you're suggesting were removed, but the link you posted to the Yelp reviews is still there.

you make some good points, but the neg reviews are concerning to me because they look very believable to me. anyway we've covered this enough. I think cpap.com is in question to me due to reading a lot of reviews and seeing a pattern. others may see it differently.

I wish my point of view were more respected on it even by those who dont agree.

I misread the deleted post thing. that was someone who says they had a good warranty exchange with cpap.com but because I still have doubts about the neg reviews, they deleted the good one. I guess thats logical to them.

there are a lot of other outlets, and I will review them hoping to find one with stellar feedback and very few negs against a large pool of positives. but not all that hopeful. but we'll see.

finally,
It made me mad to be accused of writing negative reviews when I havent even bought online yet. I rarely write bad reviews anyway. that was needless internet nonsense.

I am still evaluating switching from buy at a local dme to the flexibility of buying online.

thank you

Actually I deleted it because I felt you didn't appreciate the fact that I took the time to reply.
After all you didn't qualify your question with "except cpap.com experiences because I have already made up my mind they are no good because of what yelp says".

So, any warranty experiences?
May not have been your intention but I felt you disrespected me....Pissed me off....I wrote a reply and I get to remove my reply if I decide I want to not have it posted anymore.
Plus I don't give a rats ass about yelp reviews and thought that was another slap in the face like you wanted to prove to me that I was wrong in my thoughts.
Anybody can write a review on yelp....means absolutely nothing to me. Unless it is a "verified purchase" I don't even bother reading a review of anything. Often negative reviews for any product or service are written by the competition. Anybody can say pretty much anything on the internet and people believe it as the gospel....which it is NOT.

It had nothing to do with cpap.com and everything to do with my having a temper tantrum......which I get to do because of how feel in general about anything and everything.

You get to say and do what you want....and I have those same rights.

pugsy you got me all wrong! which is probably my fault. sorry. I very much appreciate everyone who takes the time to reply. and I generally respect everyone until they give me a reason not to and you certainly didnt.

also, I was not trying to prove anyone wrong. just sharing what comes to mind when I read their experience. I totally believe and respect your good experience with them on your warranty and again thank you for sharing it. others will read this topic later and it will also help them to know a member here got a good warranty response with cpap.com

maybe I need to work on my way of wording things because as u can see in this post, my intention was positive and appreciative, so, sorry for not relating that well enough.

regards

Let's move past the misunderstanding.
I am human...warts and all and I have been having some issues lately that really, really drain my patience supply.
It's sub zero at the moment.
Doesn't take much to set me off....just ask my hubby.

Right now I am taking it out on the aphids wanting to eat my tomato plants.
Last year it was the damn stink bugs.
Always something.

I beleive I had aphids infesting my holly bushes. Was BAD as their excrement coated and suffocates the leaves. If I remember correctly there was an oil I applied (several times) and it cleared the issue up.

My son planted the new strawberries next to the fence with kitty gaps on the bottom.
When he is pulling weeds, the cats pounce on his hands.
From their hiding places behind the fence.
I expect that is what happens to the birds, as he is eschewing bird netting this season.
"C'mon birdie, we dare you!"

I have bought from Cpap.com numourous times and have great service from them. There are alot of disgruntled people in this world that are unreasonable and will complain about the the slightest nit. Again Cpap.com is a good company.

The big problem I see with online reviews is there are probably like many people like me. As long as things are going well, and I have no problems with either the product or the company I bought it from, I don't bother to post a review. However, if I have a problem and am not satisfied with either the product, the service, or both, I am much more likely to post a review. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. The smooth running wheels hum along for ever without any notice.
