Which version of OSCAR are you using?
The most recent version. I updated yesterday.

I tried a new profile with the old SD card but that didn’t work either.

I’m hoping to talk to a sleep technician today to ask if the data I’ll have by Friday will be enough. If not I’ll cancel the appointment and wait till I have enough data.

I suspect that, according to comments in this thread, all they’ll want is the stats rather than any of the daily reports etc.

Wasn't your old machine the S9 AutoSet?
When is the last time you used that machine?
Was the old SD card in the machine when you used it the last time?

Are you using the same computer with OSCAR that you used SleepyHead on?
If so, when you installed OSCAR did it prompt you to bring in your old SleepyHead data. It should have pulled in the old data for your if you let it.

If you want or need to pursue the old card data and you have a Windows computer send me a PM and I will get you ResScan to use but it is Windows only software.

Yes, but now I'm wondering if I deleted sleepyhead before installing OSCAR coz I thought it no longer worked. Can I reinstall it or is it too late? I am sorry for being so clueless about this.

It brought data from 2012-2016 but I think that was from the card rather than SH

I will send PM

ETA:
I have now spoken to the sleep technician and she said they have a program that can read from any machine, even from the US. It may well be OSCAR (or SH) as my husband told the Dr about Sleepyhead and they got it to access his data.

She said to just bring the machine and they would do it for me. They prefer three months of stats and one week of detail.

SleepyHead isn't broken. It just won't be updated or have any bug fixes done. I still have it working on my computer should I wish to use it. I keep stuff way too long

If you have Windows and did delete it prior to installing OSCAR and you haven't emptied your trash can in Windows you can go in there and and restore it and then maybe OSCAR can find the old SH data.

Now another little known fact is that when we delete SleepyHead there is a SleepyHead folder in MyDocuments that is untouched by the deletion of SleepyHead and to get it gone from the computer you have to manually remove that folder and in that folder is all that is needed for all your old data to be retrieved including back ups which SH did automatically for ResMed machines.

Now how to get OSCAR to access the S9 SH folder....I am not sure how that would be done but when I installed OSCAR it automatically asked me to merge my SH data. OSCAR was obviously started from SH base code.

There is a problem with the S9 machine and data on the SD card. Some of the detailed data files get overwritten after 7 days and others after 30 days...and those detailed data files are needed both for SH and Oscar to do the calculations for usage and AHI.

If you use ResScan...you won't have detailed data that goes back very far and summary data only goes back a year on the SD card.
The S9 was bad about not just waiting until the SD card was full. Now your AirSense 10...no time limit until the card gets full.
I haven't downloaded since Aug 4 but when I do I will have Aug 5 detailed graphs...if I was using a S9 I would have summary numbers only.
Now the summary numbers are probably all the new doc will want to see anyway.

Oooh, that's helpful. Thank you.

I will wait for tech support, aka my husband, to get home and will see if we can access it from the file or the trash. Rather not try and undo my mistake and make further mistakes :x

The Dr did tell hubby that there are problems with Resmed branded SD cards which mine is so that may have something to do with it too. New SD is not REsmed.
