$1,796.00
Should last 20 years. Less than 30 cents per day.
but will i get a free set of steak knives with it?
Due to the pandemic, we ran out of steak knives in late May. We substituted tomato knives, and they were all gone by early August. But, we can offer you a very nice mezzaluna.
YIKES! my wife reads too many murder mysteries and i'm sure she would know how to use this!!

I have a commercial pizza knife that is similar.
The blade is over a foot long, and straighter.
I call it my "batleth", and it butchers watermelons too.

You can bet your sweet ass she knows how to use it.
And she already has you conditioned not to flinch. I would be very careful if I were you.
I am sitting here trying to figure out if I can justify buying myself one of those. That's a cool tool for sure.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

Nah....if she hasn't done you in by now you are probably pretty safe. Assuming of course she doesn't find a couple of pool boys half your age to replace you that she thinks might be a good trade.

Sometimes us wives do adopt the "devil we know is better than the devil we don't know" approach. I had to kiss a lot of frogs to find my prince and while he does annoy me at time....I don't want to go back to kissing a lot of frogs again to find a replacement so I accept the devil I know.... and it's so hard to train old farts anyway. Way too much work than I want to be doing at this stage of my life.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

Espada: You were offered some legitimate suggestions such as raising the end of the bed or buying an adjustable bed. However once you mentioned that "plus i wanna live CPAP free", you doomed your post on tis forum. This forum is primarily for help with CPAP. Good luck.

Sorry for the derailment. You got about all we had to offer in the way of ideas. I have tried sleeping on a wedge pillow for other reasons.
We do slide and it isn't an easy fix to stay put. Velcroing your butt to the bed...unfortunately is pretty much all we can offer besides an adjustable bed which is of course a very pricey option.
Maybe try sleeping in a recliner for a while if you have a recliner available to keep you more upright.
You don't have many options. Sorry.

The cheap version is to raise the head of the bed.

I use wedge pillows when we travel. I do slide down when sleeping, but have learned to live with it. I simply crawl back up the pillow every time I wake up during the night. I do not sleep as well as I do when in my adjustable bed, but it is better than nothing.
Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional.

Gramps is suggesting to wear a steel helmet and attach a large magnet to the head of your bed.

What angle wedge pillow are you using?
You can get them in 30°, 24°, 16°, and more.
I use a wedge pillow, the dimensions are approximately 7 inches high, 24 inch base with a 16° incline. I don't slide off.
