Where's the best place to sell and how much is the value?

Craigslist probably.
The S9 H5i is the humidifier side/part...it's worth maybe $20.
If you also have the blower side as well.....the value depends on the model. There's well over a dozen S9 blower models.

If it's an autoset model with less than 100 hours..complete with case..you might ask $125 on Craigslist. Other models may be a few dollars more or less.

I suggest you take it.

I can buy a brand new zero hour AirSense 10 AutoSet for less than $700. I sure wouldn't be paying that much for an older model discontinued machine even if it had zero hours itself.

I just love it when people come here wanting to know the "value" of something and then they don't like the answers they get.
We all know why they came here and it wasn't to try to figure out how much something is worth.

The S9 is a good machine. The features aren’t that much different than the A10. If you don’t have insurance to cover a machine, if you can pick up an S9 for $100 it would be a good way to go. $700? Don’t think so. It’s like folks who paid $1,500 for a new computer five years ago and think it should still be worth $1,000 because it wasn’t used much.
