My advice: set aside a box for "orphans"--things you might be tempted to keep, but don't know why.
Everything you toss, sell, or donate is free space!

guys, so sorry this has taken so long. i had THOUGHT i was all set to have nice fresh internet this last friday and that i'd wait until then to post pics.

however, that isp has fallen down. the very install technician himself warned me away from them, saying i wouldn't get the speed i needed! how nice of him to say that. but, it puts me back on the list of another isp so this could take some time.

i'm "borrowing" wifi from the daughter across the driveway. let's see if i have enough to put up some pics!

at the time of these pics, midweek, the trim hadn't been done yet, hence the plastic. but it was such a gorgeous day, i had to get the shots while i could!

Very nice zonk.

So glad that you're going to be in for Thanksgiving.

Home for the holiday! I’m sure you and Ms. Z. are still unpacking and arranging, and of course you’re still living with a bunch of people in the trades. But it’s home—yay!

.

I think you and Mrs. Z would make great neighbors. Any extra land next to your house?

My H was looking over my shoulder reading this... and he said, "We aren't moving anywhere!" So, I guess that's that.

Happy new house and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

Looks great. I love the standing seam metal roof - great decision.

inside of house will be a bit of a wait. i'm a very lazy person by nature so things are still in disarray.

meanwhile, a bright sunny day means you see the outside of our bright sunny house-

Something for you to hum as you unpack your boxes and stash stuff:

Oh, what a beautiful mornin'
Oh, what a beautiful day
I've got a beautiful feeling
Everything's going my way
