betty, I'm just curious, because I too have a Comfort Lite 2...I've never found a need to do anything with that part of the headgear. What type of adjustments are you making, and for what purpose? Please enlighten - never know, it could be beneficial.betty303 wrote:
The Respironics' little ball piece on the headgear for ComfortLite 2, that need to be slid though a small groove drives me nuts. Even with practice, I can't get it in easily and to get it out is even worse.
Thanks!

In my opinion, majority of the improvement is tied to the new grey headgear. I absolutely get no leaks whatsoever since I started using this grey headgear with the Hybrid. With the old black headgear, the nasal pillows popped out occassionally and I had to re-adjust.Vader wrote:Is the newer exhaust add much to the improvements, or is it mainly due to the headgear?neverbetter wrote: You can't beat this mask with the new headgear.

I am talking about the release clip that has a ball on the end of the ComfortFULL 2 - sorry, I named the wrong mask. The clip has to be turned on its side to be pulled out in order to release the headgear from the mask - and pulled away from your mask, so that is in the opposite direction of where you want to pull to get the mask off.
I find it extremely challenging and certainly not a quick release, if I need to get out of the mask quickly.
