About your swelling—sounds like it might be allergic? I get something similar, and it responds well to hot compresses. I nuke a bowl of water, dip in a washcloth, make sure it isn’t TOO hot, then gently press it over the swollen area. After it cools down some, I nuke the water again and repeat another time or two. I do this several time a day. Usually this routine clears things up in a day or so. Worth trying?
