I sort of enjoyed both DS9 and Voyager, but only recently. They bring back some very good memories of lounging around in the evenings in the 90's, which is a decade I miss. I'm relatively young (41) so I was coming of age in the 90's, it was a spectacular decade in my opinion. Edit: I'm sure there are other opinions that disagree with mine, and that's ok.
DS9 had some ok moments. Never did much care for Voyager. My kids were a little younger than you and didn't share my love for all things Star Trek. They would beg to stay up late and watch xfiles with me though
Did you see Babylon 5 the series and movies, it blew Star Trek away, and Star Wars too. Less Social engineering better actors.
Blasphemy  you are speaking to a hard core trekkie.
Yes I watched a little B5 of course I did. I gave up on Star Wars because Luke and Leia were brother and sister gross! (However I have seen them all my husband likes star wars) I watched all things sci fi, even watched some Buffy and Angel, Dr Who, Torchwood. I have very eclectic tastes.
I was also a hardcore Trekkie, but I didn't like the Social Engineering, still don't, and now days it's much worse, I am a Archie Bunker person, not a Meathead type! As far as Buffy NO) and Angel, Dr Who, Torchwood, did some of them. I have over 10 TB of video archived (Twice), all commercials removed, most worthwhile movies included starting from 1946 on. It's what I do! Although, the last two weeks have been a challenge, as all worthwhile T.V. is shutdown and less of the shows are worth watching much less archiving. I think my first SF Movie was Forbidden Planet, I still watch it every now and again, for the time it was A-1! Jim

If you can find Babylon 5, If a 125 GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive appeared in my mail box, it could happen.
Maybe I will try watching it again. Its been years. It is on Amazon prime, which I have. :) Thanks for the offer though.

I used to have all the TNG episodes on vhs, back then I taped it every week so I could go back and look up stuff or use it to argue a point. sadly my last vhs player died out on me so when we moved here I finally got rid of them.

The cd of the music from Forbidden Planet is one of my all-time favorites.

Just throwing my two bits into the conversation especially since I am a relatively newby to the cpap thing ( 10 months ) and have been a lurker for many months. No the lawsuit may go no where but by having it posted on this forum and probably other cpap forums many of us newbies come here for help. By informing us we can make an informed or emotional decision on whether to purchase a machine, specialized cleaning products, or tweak our settings. In this case if people read the lawsuit prospectus and decide no I will not buy one the company may not survive on reduced sales or in the case of masks and machines modify them to suit the consumer better.

The thing with Babylon 5, it's a complete story, it starts building with the very first episode, all the way through, one long 5 year story arc, with lots of smaller arcs hiphopping along.

People (that don't understand the series) say that Season 1 is boring, or dull, or whatever, but, that's because season 1 is introduction, to the the characters, the universe, everything, it's setup for what comes later, there are lines, comments, ideas that are set up in season one, some of which don't come to fruition until season 4.
