Wish I saw this post before.....LOL.
But, I did however get the new hose design which works better for me:).
There is no "new hose design", that short hose is part of the mask.

yes my old hose was one piece with the attachment at both ends...
new hose has a maybe 18 inch softer bend hose that attaches to the heated hose.
make sense? LOL
Since that's wrong .. no, no it doesn't.

I made this little hose dryer with filter, it's not powerful but I'm not blowing dust to my hose. It takes couple hours to get my hose to dry.

Kinda my thoughts.

People get some real funny ideas in their heads though and I figure whatever floats your boat.
I will just sit back and roll my eyeballs and those funny ideas.

I don't blast my humidifier, my hose stay dry all night. I get annoyed if there is drip of water goes into my nose.

My hose is probably never completely dry.
To wash it, I might need to take it into the (gasp) BATHROOM!
No, thank you.

Whatever floats your boat dude.

I don't see where all the water is coming from (since you say your hose is dry all night) unless you are washing your hose every day which is a whole new can of worms.

Water up the nose..it is annoying...I will give you that one.

There is only one way to fix a moldy hose--throw it out.
Prevention is easier--don't fool with it.
