My apologies for being less knowledgeable and boring the you-know-what out of you. :D

If ANYBODY (even just me) gets something out of this, then it wasn't "useless".
Having a "poll* to find out what other people put in their humidifiers doesn't do anything but provide dubious entertainment, since it in no way informs you what YOU should put in YOUR humidifier.
Dubious entertainment is reading the debate about forum member's Avatars. :D :D

Yeah, just like the "Jedimark vs Palerider", or "Lightsaber vs The Hammer!!!" thread... You enter at your own risk!!!

I'm at a disadvantage when I go there as I've already labeled three foes; funny enough, Palerider didn't make the list!!!
I missed lightsaber vrs the hammer. That's ok. jedimark vs pale was depressing enough. And I did see the bum thread.

I agree! Someone needs to put some "nice-guy drops" in palerider's Resmed...
I don't know about nice guy drops. There is just a lot of hurt feelings and anger and it makes my heart hurt. Without jedi we wouldn't have sleephead but without palerider to interpret we wouldn't know what it means. Its like mommy and daddy are getting a divorce.

Water supplies vary wildly in quality.
Our water here is very hard, (13 grains) but I lived on a ranch with artesian well water.
The water was so soft that soap and cold water would lather beautifully.
I would love a huge vat of that water in my house--mostly to drink--it was delicious.

The ability to read the posts ( over 10,000 ) listed here, should allow most people that visit here to answer their questions, but that would involve reading and some thinking. So we understand! Jim

I never knew Jedimark, but I do really appreciate everything he and his team did to get Sleepyhead developed. Obviously, it has helped thousands of people and is helping us all right now. It is unfortunate that things have turned so bitter between Jedimark and those who now oppose him. And if I had my preference, they would not be able to voice those squabbles here. I think there are better places to voice their concerns. Most everyone is aware that Apnea Board does not allow any of this on their forum, and yet one of the leaders of Apnea Board comes to our forum to fight Jedimark! I'm sure he's coming here to defend his name and forum, but it all seems very strange...

So, I'm not as stricken about all this as you Dinosnoreless since I never knew the participants on the other side and only know some of the participants on this side. I of course have come to know Palerider, Zonker, Pugsy and a few others who have been good enough to help me along with my treatment. So, it's natural for me to be partial to them. - - I know as things make the imminent change to OSCAR (Open Source CPAP Analysis Reporter), the software will continue to develop and continue to be a great tool for all us. I think it is only right that we all are grateful to those who had a hand in its development, especially Jedimark. And my hope would be that somehow, someday everyone finds a way to at least be respectful to one another...

Now where's that Palerider...I have to get him to tell me what the heck my Sleepyhead charts mean! :)
Edited : Whoops I didn't mean to post that without my reply. I just wanted to say I am almost as new as you are.

I am glad they have a chance to let all the ooze out rather than keep it bottled up. Hopefully everyone can start to heal.

Point to ponder... If you're sitting around the living room, chatting and enjoying each other's company, and suddenly one person jumps up, starts screaming and chases everyone out of the house, throwing things at them... does that mean that the people now on the outside are opposing the one that threw them out and is now screaming obscenities at them from inside the house? I mean... technically, I suppose.

In all fairness... SuperSleeper had never even logged in here, until Mr Watkins started his libelous tirade.

When Mr Watkins is in his rational state, he's actually a really nice guy, and fun to chat with. I miss that person, and really would like to talk to him again.
