Same here. Mask wipes daily (okay, cheap baby wipes). Rinse out the tank every couple months, otherwise just top off. The travel machine gets dumped more often. I have only bothered to clean the hose once, and that was because I was getting sick repeatedly, and I wasn't sure why. I didn't know if it would help, but I knew it wouldn't hurt. I later figured out that I was having allergic reactions to a chemical spill in the van. I would get sick anytime I went on a weekend trip with that van. We deep cleaned it after that, and the problem did not return. I have also replaced the hose once. I still have the old one as a spare.PaulKTF wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 1:27 amDitto. That's all I do as well and I've never had any issues. I always use distilled water which probably helps (or at least doesn't hurt).raisedfist wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2019 5:51 pmAll I ever do is change the filter once in a while and use mask wipes. I see no reason to wash the hose or do anything else.
SoClean etc is a scam. I've seen it turn people's mask cushion and other stuff yellow...no thanks

Well, that was the largest private plane that I could afford to purchase for myself at the time.

Re: Anyone bought a CPAP Cleaner?
My medical supplies company that I receive all my CPAP stuff from keeps harassing me about getting that SoClean to the point where I dread having to talk to them each time I pick up supplies. I would move to another provider, but this is the supply company that works closely with my family physician. Any advice? My wipes and the occasional soap cleaning works just fine for me and my wife. no need for that expensive ozone unit, IMHO.

You are correct. Do they want you to buy it from them? Tell them you already got one.Romalin wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 9:35 amMy medical supplies company that I receive all my CPAP stuff from keeps harassing me about getting that SoClean to the point where I dread having to talk to them each time I pick up supplies. Open the window so you won't have to breath all those germs.

Excellent idea, and if you can't get the window open... open up one of the doors! insist on it. Don't take 'no!" for an answer.

I've already made certain that you were on the airplane watch list, and will be seated right next to the door with the handle a little on the loose side.

All right you two. Each of you stay on your side of the thread. Don't make me have to pull this forum over to the side of the road and then come back there.
