Pressure goes up because of snores, flow limitations, hypopneas and apneas.
There's pressure increase in the first hour, but sleepyhead doesn't show any events and almost no flow limitations. I have read (here, third post
viewtopic/t83387/What-caused-this-press ... rease.html) that flow limitations don't necessarily need to be tagged. I assume this is what's happening here?
Again, thank you!!

I have no idea why you've got that 1 hour 1cm pressure drift.
Could you confirm all the settings on your machine? (I see what sleepyhead says, but it's buggy in that settings respect.
Also, if you want to zip up your entire SD card contents, I'd be happy to take a look at the data more closely. If you want to do that, upload it to:
https://www.dropbox.com/request/0LalWvEsijRIgX8sdM7H
The fact that it's the exact same thing, on two charts, with an OA at the peak of the drift makes me think it's a glitch in the way sleepyhead is displaying the data.

So the settings are right, except Climate Control which is on auto.
I uploaded it. It's the same pattern on 3 of the last 4 days. Almost all OA are falsely flagged, I think.

It's a sleepyhead bug, if you look at the mask pressure line, you'll see the pressure is flat till the first OA. The last two of which are legit.
Can I pass your data over to the new people working on the sleepyhead replacement software, OSCAR?

Damn, and I was trying to figure out what's wrong with the curves for an hour

Thanks. It's contributions of data like that which help make the software better and more accurate.

About two weeks have gone by since my first post: I have used the machine every night, although I am averaging only about three hours. I think I have solved my mouth leak/chipmunk issue now though, but it's probably too early to tell. The goal now is wearing the mask the whole night of course.
I am still having a lot of these kinds of events:

More pressure?

More pressure is unlikely to affect those kind of breathing patterns.

Do you have an explanation for them? Should I ignore them?

Nope, things just aren't perfect. Might be your co2 levels got a touch low, temporarily depressing your respiratory drive, till the level built backup and you started to want to breathe again... but, that's just a guess.

I would.

Ok, thank you palerider!
Hope I'm able to post some full nights/data (and how I feel...) in the next weeks.

Short update. I was not able to keep the mask on longer than about 3 hours with EPAP 6/PS 4. Also tried out EPAP 8/PS 2. Didn't work either. Also had some weird feeling in my chest as well as aerophagia.
Six nights ago I changed it to Epap 5/PS 4. Was able to keep the mask on longer, averaging about 5 hours. Don't have that weird feeling my chest anymore.
Palerider, I assume you want me to get to EPAP 6? If so, I would increase by 0.2 every few nights, if thats ok.

No harm in sneaking up on it... proceed at your own pace.

I now can tolerate fixed EPAP 6 with PS 3. No aerophagia and no "weird feeling in my chest". I thought the reason why I would pull the mask off midnight was the pressure increases, but I still don't keep the mask on longer than about 5 hours. Maybe I should get sleeping pills. Had some good nights though, which is giving me hope.
Another thing which might be an issue is that even though I use tape, sometimes my mouth "puffs". No leak, just the air pressuring against the tape. I'm not sure how often this happens (would you be able to tell from the flow rate curve??).
Here's yesterday night and a close up of two events. How do you interpret them? Do I need higher pressure?
