Wow thanks ! They sound as bad as the place I'm using now. Sheeze and people have warned me off Apria. I'm afraid to order supplies from anywhere (except amazon and my insurance won't pay that way). What a mess they all are !

My local DME is G&G Medical and they are affiliated with Rotech Healthcare and I order my supplies from Rotech. I have had no problem with them. I go on line, place my order and it comes in the mail. They offer a phone or email service that notifies me when I am eligible for supplies. I only order supplies that I actually need. Been using them for several years.

Mostly, my experience with them is good.

I have had issues with their sending stuff automatically and sending the wrong chin strap, but they were pretty good about fixing those issues when I called.

I only pick up items at the office. (ACS Medical)
I have no idea if my DME would ever try that nonsense--they never get the chance.
I treat them as if they would not anyway.
Mail in Lincoln is a complete clusterfruit.
Parcels mailed from a Lincoln address to another Lincoln address--go through Omaha,
taking at least an extra day. What a joke! My gripe is with the USPS.

Well I was going to give them a shot but they want not only my prescription, they want my sleep study, and my doctors notes to send me freaking supplies. Ugh I wish cpap.com was on the list of dme's I could use.

You know your insurance already has all that information...and they could easily supply it to Rotech since they are in network.
But no one wants to make it easy on people.

I have been ordering from Versus Health Care (based in Tennessee) for the last 2 1/2 years... with 0 problems. Excellent customer service, at least for me.

Thank you! They don't have any locations in Arizona. I just looked.

It is stupid! because I told off my previous dme I am probably blackballed. no one wants to deal with the crazy lady who won't accept two cushions billed @ about $ 75 each to
my insurance every month.

Well if it is any consolation to you....you aren't alone. I am in the same crazy old bitch lady category with the first DME I had and who got fired before I even got the machine...and they got an earful in the process and I wasn't very nice. Been known to have a bad case of potty mouth when riled up.

I know it's a PITA to have to jump through all the same old paperwork hoops with a new DME but just grit your teeth and keep saying to yourself....so and so can just go to hell.....or whatever suits your fancy in terms of what they can do.
They can't/won't do anything about the machine rent to own thing but you don't have to give them one dime of your money or your insurance money or even a second of your time for your other supplies once you get the paperwork hurdles done.

Haha, I too, can rival a salior when riled. I don't even mind the paperwork so much its just that I feel like I'm jumping from the frying pan to the fire. None of the ones on the list for my insurance seem to be any better. They are all a bunch of crooks. I just ordered a cushion from amazon to have as a back up to give me more time to decide which batch of crooks to choose. Not a one of them is higher than 3 stars on yelp. Rotech, lincare, banner, prefered, dimond. Ugh well at least I have choices right.  it could be worse if there was only one.

I have changed DME's several times.
Most times I did it very quietly--except when an old one started phoning me
to "remind" me that supplies were "due".
I firmly stated that I had taken my business elsewhere--and to please stop calling me.
