@ Pugsy
I'm using Medicare and United Health to pay for my CPAP machine.
@ deerhound
Thanks for the clarification, Dale. Looks like I got SleepCentral's and Rotech's roles reversed! I think I'll just keep dealing with SleepCentral instead of with Rotech.

Re: Location of Replacement Parts in Colorado
Sleep Central is Rotech's name for their supplies outlet. If you use them, they are Rotech. I have used many DMEs since 2008. Some were great, some weren't. I have been pretty satisfied with Rotech and Sleep Central overall. Medicare ...

[Resolved] Location of Replacement Parts in Colorado
New user here - I needed a replacement nasal cushion but when I called my DME (Rotech) I was told that they do not stock any replacement equipment or parts. I was also told to call SleepCentral. SleepCentral is in Kentucky, I'm in Colorado. Is my only recourse ...

Re: Question for Bleep/Eclipse users who file their insurance for the mask
Here's the list I got from Stuart.
Aeroflow (I have heard of them and heard positives)
Apria (also known as Crapria and their service is well known to be a real PITA)
Lincare (I know nothing about them)
Adapt Healthcare (I know nothing about them)
And RoTech but it only carries the Eclipse stuff.

And don't forget about the frauds committed by and against Medicare. Those are everywhere now. Just took a look at this list made by a law firm. It's scary.

Re: Replaced my 4yr 10 months old Curve Auto with another
... machine was a couple of months shy of 5 years old and we weren't sure if medicare woul let me get a new on until January. She wrote the order and Rotech sent me an AirCurve 10 VAuto. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the new machine had 280 hrs on it. Normally I would have instead ...

... anyone know the process of changing your DME if you have Medicare? Process hasn't changed. You can change DMEs at any time you wish. You can fire Rotech at any time...but it might be easier to do it now. It may or may not require returning the machine and getting a new machine from new DME.

Rotech could supply your mom another mask if they would just do that little bit of extra work to get reimbursed so that they aren't losing money. You ...

Luna G3, just over a year old
... I’m experiencing consistent 40s, feeling horrible, and every time I check the report it says 0 usage time or stats. No idea how to troubleshoot. Rotech, the supplier, is difficult to deal with and a bit scammy in my opinion so I’m dreading dealing with them. Machine has a 2 yr warranty so I think ...

I do feel better about that already. Once again things you don't know until you start asking and get to ...

You know, I am thinking about this. If the Supplier is having me sign a contract with them, then my Advantage plan DOES NOT HAVE A BINDING CONTRACT. You bring up an interesting point that I've NEVER understood. The actual contract you have with your insurer is called an Evidence of Coverage (EOC). ...

Advantage plans are classified as Medicare type C.
FYI: the C stands for CRAP.

Could you possibly give the OP an example of how he is saving money? I gave an example of how I could/did save money. Did you not understand the math? OP is a big boy and needs to do his own math. Math was your idea. What you pay 2024: $174.70 each month (or higher depending on your income). The am...
