but, do purse your lips before you tape, so the tape isn't on the lips themselves, rather on the skin above and below.

otherwise, ouch!

We skip the lip balm, and purse the lips. Much better when taping! Thanks for the tips!

I think I'm one of the lucky ones. My stats look good. From my oximeter, the number of minutes below 88% ranged from 18 to 92 (!) minutes before the apap. First three nights on apap, the oximeter reported 14.2 then 5.5 then 0.0. minutes with low oxygen saturation (<88%). My ahi has dropped over the first three days as well. Latest was 1.37 according to sleepyhead. My 'sleep maintenance' insomnia is fading as well. I still wake up to pee, but fall asleep easily.

And my sinuses are loving the heated and humidified air. I'm prone to sinusitis. All this humidity has led to some stinky post nasal drip in the morning, but I'm really hopeful that a few weeks of this will clear out the bad stuff growing in my sinuses.

I've turned off the ramp, have epr=3 and pressure at 5/14. Sleepyhead shows three pressure peaks during the night.

I'm really pleased with my apap and look forward to bedtime to see if I make further progress!

Congratulations on roaring out of the gate! Are you feeling a little better already too?

Don't be shy about posting your SH charts. Only good can come from doing so.

On the sinus issue, here's a recommendation that may help speed the cleanout. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=174018&p=1280501&hi ... s#p1280536
I've never used it, but a recommendation from chunkyfrog is solid imo.
