And you will prematurely wear out the tubing connector. I leave my mask connected to the tubing except fr the occasional cleaning.
I ruined a heated hose in less than a year by daily unplugging the mask daily. :(
You can get a "quick connect" to prevent wear on the hose cuff. The quick connect is just a really short male/female extender. But it does make the attachment point that much heavier. So maybe not ideal for everyone's hose management. But the heated hoses aren't necessarily meant to last longer than a year.

You guys are so funny..a bit cruel but funny nonetheless. Luckily, I just found a tubing connector, it will be a pain removing and connecting both sides to each other but I'll be able to sleep, mostly. Image

Thanks for the info but I change my tubing once a month as I can usually get 2 for $10 on Amazon.

If you are worried about critters, maybe just run Mask Fit for a few minutes before putting the mask on?

Insects are an important source of dietary protein world-wide . . . for humans.
If you never swallow a bug, you never know if you spared the one you NEEDED.

Most of us aren't as attuned to the deliciousness of bugs as are our amphibian friends.
