desiderata wrote:My first and current mask is the Swift LT Nasal Pillow. It works fine, with a couple of minor issues.

The hose goes over the top of the head, held in place by a clip. The hose stays in the clip, but slides within it, making the length in front of my face shorter, and changing the angle of the pillows so it doesn't fit as well. I usually wake up several times a night to turn over, and often have to adjust the hose also.

Perhaps the straps are getting a little stretched out (or maybe something else has changed). It seems of late I have had to pull them a little tighter to keep a good fit/seal. The strap on one side seems to become looser during the night, and during awakenings I often need to adjust that as well. I've been thinking of sewing some velcro on those straps to hold the adjustment over night.

For these reasons, I'm considering giving a try to some of the other nasal pillows out there. Besides the images and reviews, I'm inviting people's experiences, learnings, and suggestions/recommendations. Thank you in advance.
I've been using the LT for several years (since it first came out). I quickly found that disconnecting the tube from the top strap allowed for a better seal. I also toss and turn a lot at night and letting the hose free from the top strap maintains the seal more effectively. You could also try a DIY hose management system to hang the hose up above your head with a stretchy key ring chain ... just do a forum search for hose management for ideas.

As for trying other masks, many new pillow masks have come out since I found the LT to serve my needs effectively. A couple of others that were close seconds that I have tried are the Opus 360 and the Aloha.

Good luck!

If you do not mouth breathe, you may want to try the Brevida. It's as close to perfect on me as these things can be, but I'm battling with trying to stop mouth breathing through various methods,......I'm losing it appears, and must find a FFM I can live with.
