I am ready to scream!
Unfortunately my exhaust to my mask is my mouth. My wife’s solution was to move to another room. She doesn’t like the pump sound, and she doesn’t like me blowing down her neck. She would rather me snore her to death, but she has never asked me not to wear my mask. Not much of a solution, but some empathy.
If your exhaust is your mouth, then you need to either look into chin straps (which I've never tried, but which help SOME people keep their mouths shut) or try a full face mask.
The problem is, if your mouth is open and leaking out all that wonderful high pressure air your CPAP is blowing up your nostrils, then you're really not getting effective treatment, and as far as I know, might as well not be using it.
Time to try some other things, so you can get the treatment you (we) need.
Liam, whose mouth is, apparently, ALWAYS open. At least when awake.
