Maybe I am dense. but I managed to choose a machine, then when I chose another I could see no additional boxes drop down. I have no idea if the second machine choice wiped out the first one. I also accidentally moved my mouse and chose a BI pap which I have never used. I reselected the machines i have tried but still can't be sure both were selected since I can only see the last box.

Same with the Mask. It says additional boxes will appear when you select size but not for me. It looked like I was just replacing what I had already entered. I should have 3 masks and who knows how many are really showing.

I went to the profile as your note said and I didn't see anything there to help me (optional?)

"Optional" is the section where you list your equipment. The first selection is "Product Trial Information:" click on "Edit Information".

Nice job Theo

Good point, and I won't answer for Johnny, but we 'from the USA' are prone to 'just' say "America".
And I don't think he minded if we also lived somewhere else part of the time? (re: "only")

Your question brought to mind some commercials that were on TV a few years back promoting tourism for Texas (which is the home of CPAP.COM) that ended with:

TEXAS.....It's like a whole other country.

So, if that's true, I don't know where that leaves the rest of us.....

Ok I am almost there now. Dropdowns done, but now I can't get rid of the mistake. First selection is showing up as Remstar Lite and I don't even remember slipping my mouse and putting that one in. How do I get rid of it?

JOHNNYGOODMAN:

I have a concern regarding the following statement:

"3. I understand that any information used or disclosed under this authorization may also be re-disclosed and no longer protected by the HIPPA Final Rule."

WHAT information would be disclosed, and to whom?

Thank you.

Greetings Offerocker,

The information you provided during enrollment would be disclosed to manufacturers requesting product trials. If we gave it to a manufacturer requesting trials, the trial was completed, you didn't opt out and another manufacturer selected you - we'd re-disclose the data to the new manufacturer.

HIPPA is setup to protect healthcare related data and this trial has us disclosing that data to Manufacturers with your express consent for the express purpose of product trials.

No, we're not going to sell this data or use it outside the bounds of a product trial system. We're able to build a system like this because of the trust that CPAP users and CPAP manufacturers alike have in us. To abuse either party for short term profit (like selling the list to someone) would be a very foolish move and we're not going to make it.

Johnny

JohnnyGoodman:

Thank you for your timely response.

You also said: " To abuse either party for short term profit (like selling the list to someone) would be a very foolish move and we're not going to make it. "

I didn't think you would...just so you know that.

Greetings CPAPtalkers,

I'm thrilled to report that initial enrollment in the product trial system if off to a great start.

I wanted to let everyone know that some manufactuers want to mail out products and some want to find pockets of patients located in on city - if you want to increase your chances of getting selected, have friends in your area who use CPAP sign up too.

Johnny
