Suffering

That 'sleeping on left side' stuff (re reflux) is as old as the hills, and about as meaningful (not!). There are more up to date ways of dealing with it!

I think I heard something about the left side, too.
Personally, I'm taking as much prescription tummy medicine as I am allowed. Also, some Pepsid Complete. I sleep with my bed elevated, and I don't eat three hours before going to bed.
And I still have reflux!!!!!!!!!!!

Leelee-
You are playing with alot of variables here but I'll bet it's going off the HRT. I had a terrible time going off of HRT--hot flashes, nightsweats, anxiety, insomnia you name it. And it took me about 6 months to get it under control. You might talk to you doctor about going off of HRT slowly, tapering off. I went off cold turkey and it wasn't pretty.
I tried everything, all kinds of herbal remedies, etc.

Good luck!

For those of you who may be following this post, I followed Rested Gal's suggestion to change my min max pressure settings to 9-16cm.
I am delighted to report that it worked! I feel great this morning, and my numbers were perfect. As a matter of fact my AI was Zero!
A big thanks to all the great suggestions and especially to Rested Gal, who is brilliant.

pleased to hear your good news, BUT I have always understood that you should be weaned off HRT, not just go off cold turkey.

Ms Piggy-
yes you are probably right. But in my case I had no choice. My uterine lining was thickening and I had a precancerous uterine lining biopsy and my doctor said to go off HRT immediately and that was followed by a couple of D&Cs.
Anyway, all's well that ends well and I'm OK and it also sounds like Lee Lee has found her answer too.
