I deleted all the posts between 11:10 and 11:40 as fast as my fingers would go in a production line like manner and lost ground

I see that all their posts have multiple views, so the bot comes back and checks on the posts. I wonder if it finds them missing if it increases the post rate.

The board software is what, 3.0.x? Judging from the release notes, it's about 10 years old. I just signed up a couple days ago and I didn't have to verify my e-mail address nor get past even the simplest of captchas. I'm actually surprised this board has gone for so long without being hacked given phpBB has historically had a less-than-stellar security record and there have been plenty of exploits in the last 10 years .

I do hope you guys get it worked out since there is a lot of useful information here. I also go to /r/cpap but there seems to be a larger community here.

Good luck!
Dave

It's impossible for us on our end to have a chance to keep up with the magnitude of shit that is getting posted.
I can get maybe 2 deletes done and 10 to 15 take their place.

I have carpal tunnel today from mouse moving and clicking.

They know this is happening so apparently they are going to take care of this tomorrow after the holiday weekend is over.

I'd shut down the servers, until I got it fixed, it's going to cause needless wear and tear until failure. Shut down, repair offline. Jim
