AND if you had any balls you would PM Johnny to tell him that YOU King PR don't like the way he runs his forum; specifically you don't like that Guests are allowed to post here.palerider wrote:well, if you've got any balls at all, why don't you PM caroline and ask her? she can see the IPs that hangfire and I post from... i'm sure she'll let you know if they're the same.Mama Bear wrote: And I suspect this is your sneaky alter egoHang Fire wrote:shelbyk51 wrote:shelbyk51
I get the impression that PR is a lonely child who never had to share his toys and got everything he wanted or he would cry like the whiny boy does here when he doesn't get his way. Is it called anti-control anxiety?
And if you can't PM Johnny you can always send an email to Johnny at cpap dot com with your demands

No, you need to register. It's not required, but it's a common courtesy.Guest wrote:I don't have to have a name here until I decide I will be a regular part of this community.

You are just proving you like trolling this forum. You should register, start over and be nice, or leave. This forum is too important to have trolls trashing it up.Guest wrote: I get the impression that PR is a lonely child who never had to share his toys and got everything he wanted or he would cry like the whiny boy does here when he doesn't get his way. So why do you use this Cowfish ID to troll then. Never anything helpful, just trolling. Another lonely child perhaps?CowFish wrote:You are just proving you like trolling this forum. Re: Why am I the rare case? Please tell me I'm not alone
My sleep doc said (and I've seen research that agreed) that UARS can take more pressure to correct than OSA. And for me on my titration that was the case. So maybe going up a bit on the pressure would help. As others have said, make sure you're seeing someone who is certified in sleep medicine. (Mine is head of a local large hospital's sleep center.)
You know, it's really sad that, yet again, another thread has been derailed by people fighting over who is a troll and who is not. Yep, I'm probably helping that along by making this comment, but at least I also posted something that I hope will be helpful, if not for the OP, maybe someone else.

You must be referring to Dr Krakow... More pressure can be more disruptive to UARS sleepersWearyOne wrote:My sleep doc said (and I've seen research that agreed) that UARS can take more pressure to correct than OSA.
just curious know more details about that conclusion. Something like "my RDI sucked at pressures 13/10, but was totally grounded at 16/11"And for me on my titration that was the case.
Though I think BiPAP does help me more even with the same pressure as APAP, just because I can manipulate the trigger/cycle, which is not available in the latter

As far as UARS, I definitely feel I have those issues in addition to apnea. Unfortunately, I can't tolerate any more pressure than what is necessary to take care of my AHI.

Re: Why am I the rare case? Please tell me I'm not alone
No, nothing to do with Dr. Krakow. I don't read much of his stuff. After my titration, the sleep doc said that 8.5 took care of everything but the UARS and that bumping up to 9 took care of those. This was 10 years ago, so I don't remember anything more than that. I'm on regular CPAP.tan wrote:You must be referring to Dr Krakow... 49er -- the thread you posted a link to was a waste from the get go, altho I understand why you posted it in this thread. So many pages and yet it accomplished nothing. Not once has anyone alluded to that thread once it was off the first page, and there were many times it could and should have been. Nothing changed... same people saying the same nasty, rude things and getting away with it.
And Guest(s)... there are some of us who don't give a hoot if you register or not. Whether your name is Guest, Mr. Smith or Bobotheclown, if your advice is correct and therefore valuable... why would anyone care what your name is. And, if you aren't asking for advice, why would it matter if your equipment isn't listed. The majority of people here are retired and have nothing to do with their lives other than to live on this forum day and night, and tell others what they should or shouldn't do as it pertains to registering... and in the process derailing threads. Same garbage... same people... different day.

Be careful about taking advice from unregistered guests. There are some trolls here. It's best to stick with registered members with a long history. Pugsy and Palerider are two good ones. There are many other good ones, but those two post the most.
I'm sorry, but I am an unregistered person here. Just because I am "guest" doesn't mean I don't have something important to say about what I have learned or experienced. The person you so eloquently attacked for being a "Guest", and putting out there his/her experience is no less capable of putting out their information. So sad that we can't all be here to try to help each other out. I think you should take a good look at your posts before you treat "Guests" like they don't count. This "Guest" you have put to the back burner could be someone of value in the near future, and could also become a registered member, who then gets the same respect you are showing to the other two here. Just my two cents, if it's worth anything.
If you have something that you need to contribute, why not invest a small amount of your time to become a member. If you don't like us we will cheerfully refund your deposit, as far as learning, just searching and reading can answer most of your questions, no comments needed. That method takes even less effort.
Many Guests, come here to cause trouble and are looked on as trouble makers and drive by's, not all, but some, it's harder to trust someone who's hiding. Not that becoming a member makes you a good person, this is the internet, mileage varies.

Then after you register the very same registered regular troll agitators will have something else to nit pic and complain about cuz that is their life. Registering will solve nothing.Lucyhere wrote:The majority of people here are retired and have nothing to do with their lives other than to live on this forum day and night, and tell others what they should or shouldn't do as it pertains to registering... and in the process derailing threads. 49er et al - you are not new here. You know the registered regular troll agitators and yet you don't approach them to act in at least a partial civil manner. If you read the threads they have derailed you will find the very same regular troll agitators starting the same ol BS over & over yet you look past that?
And to everyone else who ignores these registered regular troll agitators - you have to ask yourself if you are part of the solution or part of the problem by ignoring this degrading childish behavior. And my guess it prob 1 or 2 people who just change IDs and whine some more.
Maybe giving these registered regular troll agitators read only access would make this problem go away.
Write to Johnny at cpap dot com not to the unregistered guest who does not have the authority these regular troll agitators will respect or listen to.
Re: Why am I the rare case? Please tell me I'm not alone
Guest, be careful about making assumptions. I have definitely confronted agitators in the past. But for various reasons, I have currently chosen not to.Guest wrote:Then after you register the very same registered regular troll agitators will have something else to nit pic and complain about cuz that is their life.
