Since you seem to feel that you and I can't seem to communicate very well...I will bow out.
I wish you the best of luck.

Your first line says it all: You made this into a "you" versus "us" discussion.
you've managed to annoy one of the most giving and helpful people on the forum with your twisting of her words.

congrats, your loss.

You need to seriously check your attitude at the door.
Maybe...but not tonight. The posts are self evident, she was annoyed and rude tonight for no reason when I was seeking input.
your interpretation of her posts is off.

again, your loss.

For most people it take several months to get the settings right and get accustom to sleeping with the machine and mask

Welcome to the pile on! I wonder how many more we'll get.
since you seem to be more concerned with your "feelings", (that and casting aspersions at those that are trying to help you), I predict you'd be much happier over at apneaboard... feel free to whine about how horrible we are about not pandering to your delicate senses.

I should be so thankful for such rude and patronizing commentary! *rolls eyes*
so, are you just purposefully trying to be an ass, or, are you just that thick?

At the same time I'm not about to let patronizing behavior go on and on without it being called out. I tried to diffuse it multiple times but was rewarded with more snarkiness. Don't be surprised by the bear's reaction after you keep poking at it.
plenty of experience coming in somewhere and having people get tired of your shit real quick, eh?

yeah, keep telling yourself how wronged you are....

asking for help and biting the hand that helps you, that usually work out well for you? good luck getting more help.

I see that Buddy has flounced.

I wonder how long it took him to open and edit every post he made while on here? Of course enough of his posts were quoted for anyone to be able work out for themselves what he's more than a little prickly, so that seems to have been a total waste of time.

Yup, waste of his time and everyone else who tried to help, particularly one of our superstar members who lots of us owe loads to.
I hope whatever was the issue with his therapy gets sorted and he has some rest - at least many of us can all empathise with tired and irrational behaviour!

Edit for something totally off topic- I just realised from my info that I joined here in July 2015, and read the forum daily for a full 15 months before trialling CPAP- what was I thinking?!

well, that has to be the first rage quit i've seen on a cpap forum.

interesting.

anyways. personally i've learned quite a lot on this board, certainly more than any of the medical "professionals" i'm dealing with have taught me.

for what it's worth, i appreciate all the comments and advice and help i've received here thus far.

i'm staying.

this is a rage stay.

Wow. I didn't think he would get all pissy and dot delete his posts just from a little run in with me and some of you guys.
Didn't really see that I was all that snarky but maybe answering a "Really?" question with "yes, really" qualifies.
I was trying to answer specific questions with specific answers because he was complaining about not getting specific answers.

Geez..damned if you do and damned if you don't.

I get it that some people have personalities that clash with mine. I am okay with that. I finally figured out his personality and mine clashed and that's why I said I would "bow out". My way of doing or saying something wasn't working well so time to let someone else step in.
I thought that was the polite thing to do. Wasn't meaning to be hateful or snarky.
And my apology was very real. If I hadn't meant it I wouldn't have said it.
I guess I should have just said "Go F..k off" which is definitely where I am leaning now that he got all pissy.

Oh well...bet I slept better last night than he did. That much anger has gotta eat at someone.
Been there and done that myself but not with this guy last night.
