I like the idea of a weighted furr ball you could turn on that would purr... though we have live ones that are generally rather sweet. Two girls, sisters from the same litter that have been with us for almost a year. Thankfully none of them have gone after my cpap hose - though it is covered with a fleece cover. One of them sometimes will get up in my face and bat at the exhaust air then walk around a few times and settle on me for the night like I'm her cat bed. It's kind of funny.

I guess she thought I was her territory (had her prior to marriage) and wasn't going to budge!
Many decades ago, my oldest son woke up one night while sleeping with our beloved ancient tabby. The cat managed to get draped over his nose and mouth. He said that he was dreaming of sinking in quicksand and panicking. He said that eventually in his dream he saw a long glowing tunnel and was heading towards the light engulfed by an intense generator buzz which woke him up (from long personal experience that's a tip-off you're dying - re: the 60's movie Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors). It put such a fright into him that now he's a dog lover and won't tolerate a cat sleeping in his bedroom any more.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

I'm reading a book called "The Genius of Dogs". Seriously - it got great reviews and is fascinating! You should check it out (or give it to your son).

My husband discovered (painfully) long ago that kittens need to be banned from the bedroom
when a healthy man sleeps commando.

Just saw the Kit-Kat commercial with people in cat costumes;
PLEASE do not let your cat have chocolate--not even milk chocolate!
The thing that makes chocolate wonderful will make your kitty or dog very sick!
Maybe even put it over the Rainbow Bridge.
