just fyi, I've read some stuff on that blog, and it seems they play fast and loose with what they say... at least the things I've read.
Ah thanks for the info.

I trust my kids sleep doctor over online stuff honestly. She told me and I believe her.

My kid uses her cpap great and its not a big deal. It works for us and she likes it. That's really all that needs to be said to nay sayers and I'll ignore them from this point forward.
This forum is replete with true stories of very bad advice given by sleep doctors. In fact, poor treatment by sleep medical professionals is the major reason this forum exists.

You have a huge responsibility to your daughter. I hope you live up to it.
I sure am considering she has OTHER medical issues as I have said numerous times. I hope you learn that you can't judge when you don't know someone's history and you can't make judgement calls on someone's health without all the information. Also? Treatment we chose with multiple medical professionals from numerous specialties and my daughters own personal health issues. Are not any of your business. I've said she's good on cpap with 10-11 hours of compliance and an Ahi of 1 and that's all I'm saying on this. Butt out as I'm not discussing this further. Cpap works and we are happy with it

My results were ready in only two days. Picked up the device on a Tuesday, turned it in on Wednesday, got a call from the sleep clinic that same Friday to make the appointment.
Ty! If I've not heard by Tuesday I'll give them a ring and see if they can tell me anything. Tired of waking up exhausted and with headaches
Good luck!
Ty! Will keep you guys updated!

SleepyonMagnoliaSt, if those techs whom you expect to provide you the test results see your posts here and decide that you're a trouble maker then they might refuse to provide you, personally, the results and ask to deal only with an MD physician. In such a case they would be relying on the HIPPA clause covering it. It depends on your State laws. It has to do with a possibility that you could harm yourself or someone else if you know the results.

here's a pro-tip, put avi123 on your foe list, (click the name on the left, then 'add foe'). avi has always been a misogynistic asshole, but lately, dementia has been heaping on top of that... it's really best to just not see is ravings, unless you're one of the folks who is on 'avi debunking' patrol.

Ty for explaining foe. Is that how you block on this board?

I was confused because I never said anything about contacting techs

yes, you still see that they posted *something* but it condenses whatever down to just a one line notice, that you can look at if you want to.

avi.... circles around in avi's little world, he's got this crazed idea in his head that sleep doctors are looking for excuses to deny patients the medical reports that they're entitled to by law. (and, well, a lot of other crazed ideas.)

all he's doing these days is confusing people, at best.

Ahhh conspiracy theorist type person? I've been to enough specialists to know I have a right to all my medical results. I even have the photos from my recent MRI lol

well, in this particular instance, you're pushing a lay opinion on someone that stated she doesn't want your "help".

I'm willing to bet you didn't take the time to read through her post history to even familiarize yourself with her and her child's issues before "helping".

she said she prefers to take the advice of her daughters physician, and you quipped:

no, I'm not trying to be a 'wise guy'.

I dunno... he's pretty out there at times. I don't know that I'd call it a conspiracy theorist kinda thing, more like he fixates on things at times, and loses sight of practical reality.

You are just taking a wild stab at a serious problem. You have zero experience and zero expertise on what you are offering advice on.

Sometimes it is best to be disciplined and just keep your mouth shut.
