Wader, it was through no domestic policy of my own that she wore that mask. Amazingly, my wife and I never really got to see Rested Gal's face that entire visit. She wore an array of masks the entire time she was in town. When patrons in restaurants would stare, I would shrug my shoulders and apologetically smile. "Scuba diver" or "dedicated anesthesiologist" I would say, attempting to allay their concerns.
When Rested Gal finally decided to jet-set to the Northeast to test some serious polysomnographic equipment, my wife and I just smiled and shook our heads in utter amazement. To this day we ask ourselves: "Who
was that masked woman?" Occasionally our neighbor Wilson peers up from his side of our fence and offers thought provoking clues to our mysterious friend. But now that I think about it, we've never seen his face either... .

Can we say "neurocognitive glitch? This time I'm afraid the above is phpBB's rather than my own. I got guested in the middle of making an edit...
Anyway, who doesn't love Rested Gal. Or for that matter the rest of the dedicated cpaptalk members who contribute their heart and soul to helping others?

I agree with the suggestion to heighten the separation between "report spam" and delete.
I also suggest the anyone who mistakenly deletes a thread, write in immediate " OOOPS Alert" letter to forumadmin, reporting it. After all, anyone attempting to quote, and finding the carpet snatched from under his or her feet will be well aware of that.

I don't think that is possible, unless you're willing to give up space alloted to the 'subject', imho.
It would need to be moved elsewhere, or a popup window added for confirmation, which would be safer - imho.

The message sounds like a real winner, if Johnny is willing to deal with them.
I never thought about the closeness of the two buttons. That IS an excellent point.
Due to my essential tremor, I have made unintended deletions of my postings.
Does it not just FRUSTRATE one to AGAIN have sent a carefully crafted posting into the uncharted territories of space? And asking whenever it happens, "When will I learn to compose on my word processor and paste the posting onto the forum system when done?"

Well, "Frustrate" is ONE word for it, birdshell !! I've either 'timed out', or something, because the page just goes "POOF!"!!! And the rewrite just doesn't have the impact of the original. I've started to do periodic 'alt/C' to copy what I've written, else paste from MS Word.
Is your essential tremor due to PD?

If PD stands for "Professional Development", then no. (Sorry, that was a teacher joke. We don't get many chances for humor anymore, as we are too busy trying to leave no child behind. That used to mean counting heads on a field trip to be sure all were on the bus....)
If it stands for "Parkinson's Disease", then again (very thankfully) no.
If it stands for the same benign essential tremor that my grandmother had, and my mother and her sister have, then yes. But other than having to brace my wrist on the gearshift to turn the volume control in the car, it isn't so bad. My mother has a mouse adapter that allows her to click more slowly and deliberately. Mine is not to that point yet.
Believe me, the occasional accidental click is not a very big problem. I just hope that Johnny won't exclude someone for an inadvertent mistake. Not that he would, but we are sharing thoughts on this forum and sometimes if one hasn't had an experience mentioning it helps to avoid undoing something later.
Essential tremor is kind of fun sometimes. It is interesting to see my aunt put on her false eyelashes with one shaky hand holding the other shaky hand just a little bit steadier. .

LOL birdshell !!
In California, "essential tremor" just means
"good morning San Andreas, another fine day!".
(That can ALSO lead to hitting wrong keys and pressing wrong buttons, my favorite excuse).

I am
VERY happy for you that it is
NOT Parkinson's.
My husband has it, and it is essentialy a slow death sentence, which is usually premature.
I hope the progression of your ET is very slow! At least you know what 'could' happen, and examples of how others devised work-arounds.
Good luck there.

My Dad has Parkinson's as well, but my understanding is that the treatments for it are a lot better than they once were.
However, as to the progression of ET, I thought the movie was way too long as it was, I'd hate to ask for the progression to be even slower.
Liam. I'll be right here.

Y'all 'crack me up', so to speak.
Just FYI: My aunt REALLY DOES wear false eyelashes DAILY!
UH OH--I hope that won't give away my secret identity.
