Haven't tried the Velcro idea yet, but if other things don't work it likely won't work enough.
You won't know until you try and it's a cheap, easy fix that HAS worked for a lot of us.

I have a resmed nasal mask it also kept riding up in the back causing the mask to leak because the top of the mask would tip forward I sleep on my side. After 6 months of getting frustrated I adjusted the straps and put it on upside down and it worked great ever since. My straps are velcro it's easy to reverse it. Still took me a 1 year to sleep an entire 6 hours with it on. Don't give up on it takes a long time to get used to wearing something while you sleep. I had to make my self so tired I could sleep with anything on my face to make it work.

Ya, the issue is my back strap just likes to "ride up" in the night, thus causing the mask to lose it's proper position. I am an active sleeper.
Ya, I've been able to resolve the hose issue with my pillows, so that's not much of an issue.

Ah, that "Mask Stabilizer Strap" might actually work/help, though I hope it doesn't choke me. Will need to figure out how to get that since no money and would have to beg Bishop and figure out if they can take a Church check.

White T-Shirt.... hmmm, interesting. I will see if I can try something like that.

Tourniquet strap.... Could you elaborate on this? I'm assuming you're talking about the rubber strap. How do you put it on your head?

Hair spray... hmmmm. Interesting. Though something I wil have to buy to try. Don't think it would work enough and my hair would likely still need to be longer to get a fuller blocking effect from the stiff spay.

Ya, I'll go ahead and try to ask to get the Velcro sticky's and try that too.... Just more stuff I have to ask Bishop to buy for me. He's going nuts for how long this is alll taking. Went a year and 1/2 before getting living help before I was finally properly diagnosed. Everybody thought I just had depression due to the loss of my family.

Thanks all.... these suggestions have been even more helpful, hopefully I can get one to work and it be a good one. Appreciated.

What I would like to know is why there is such a craving for carbs when one is stressed out.

Two deaths in the family this weekend (Plus the news) and all I want is sugar and carbs.

Nothing I have read addresses this.

from the definition of comfort food: food that provides consolation or a feeling of well-being, typically any with a high sugar or other carbohydrate content and associated with childhood or home cooking.

I remember reading, way back when, that pasta increases serotonin levels... perhaps other carbs do to, and there's a subconscious association?

also, my sympathies.

It's a reasonable question, BS, but isn't this the wrong thread???
