The original mask is either beige or blue, but replacement cushions come in colors or prints.
The Sleepweaver Advance can be gotten in camo, and other designs.
A couple years ago, someone bedazzled their mask.
Be creative, or not. You could wear a biker bandanna over/under the headgear. Skulls, school, etc.
Then when someone comments on it, you can say, "Wait? You can see it?!?!"

I LOVE my Elan, I put it on in the dark after we turn out the light. There are 4 straps and I just loosen the lower right to put it on.

I think a lot of people think they leak, but you just have to get the straps the right tightness on the straps I found they leak less than any other mask. . If they are too tight it flattens against your face and can leak. Has to fill up like a hot air balloon Wearing it took some getting used to because I thought it was leaking since it has an exhaust part, but just pull it away from my face and the pressure sucks it back in place so I know that it's working. My numbers actually improved with it over a more rigid mask.

If you read through the forum, you will find hundreds of posts of people struggling with mask fit. It seems that, of all the masks available, for each individual, there are only a few that are truly suitable from a fit and function perspective. I think that you may want to toss the idea of finding a mask that looks good out the window, and stick with finding a mask that works well for you, because I doubt you will find both.

I thought Steve already announced the Miss Universe winners, twice. You need UV light sources in the bedroom to make the glow in the dark paint light up. You could use LEDs and batteries but then you complain about the weight of the mask. Most people don't sleep with the lights on. Jim

Tape a bowl to the front elbow, tell everyone it's your custom bong. Instant respect and envy will be yours.

Being 20 years old in college and living in a fraternity house, wearing a mask while I'm sleeping isn't something I always enjoy doing. People are always coming in and out of rooms and what not and I personally do not like being seen wearing such a medial looking mask. Almost everybody in the house knows about my apnea but I want a mask that doesn't look so ugly. As these two words sound oddly in a sentence together, but I want to have a mask that looks more appealing and "hip". To many this may sound odd but I have a feeling that some people may have a similar insecurity with the appearance of their mask while being worn, even if it is within your own home. If anyone has any company names that sell something like it please let me know. I do know of the process hydro dipping and I assume some of you do as well. I feel like this could possibly be an easy fix but not sure if it would interfere with anything on the mask itself. Thanks y'all
How about......."grow a set" and start acting like an adult. Are you gonna go through life letting people determine what "looks good" on you? This is a medical device that is going to improve your health. Screw what others think. That's one of the "problems" of being in a fraternity or sorority.

Here's a little bit of trivia I've never divulged on the forum........till now.
In nearly 11 years of this therapy, I've never looked in a mirror with my mask on. I don't care what I look like with it on!!!
It helps me breathe while I'm sleeping.

I do look in the mirror--warts and all.
When I remove my P10, my nose settles down right where it should be.
When I step out of the shower, those beautiful scars on my chest remind me
I BEAT CANCER.
Beauty is where you find it--not in the shallow minds of children, but the TRUTH.

Meh. If I were you I wouldn't look in a mirror either. Thank goodness that isn't the case.

There is nothing wrong with CooprDawg's desire to look good. There is something creepy about a grown-ashed man wanting to kick sand in everyone's eyes all the time if they don't agree with his bootstrap manifesto. Jeeze, Den take a pill.

I think he's doing just fine. I was older when diagnosed and had just as much trouble with vanity. I can't imagine needing a CPAP in a frat house- but he's doing it. Just looking for ways to make it better.

Cooprdog must be having a good laugh on this discussion. Remodeling stock cpap masks to make them more attractive ? WAKE UP WORLD !!! There isn't a single mask on the market that isn't a red hot chick/guy magnet right out of the box. My wife of 46 years pays little attention to me UNTIL I strap on my Opus Nasal Pillows and then she's on me like white on rice.

Well, there is that little "bondage" fetish; where wearing anything confining can make one or both partners . . .

I stand by my statements.
Having known many in the "Greek system" when I was in college and following some of the problems with them over the years, they're not all that far from how they were represented in "Animal House"........the epitome of immaturity.

Come on! This 20 year old young man in no way indicated he was even thinking about NOT USING a mask! He simply asked for suggestions about a mask that looked a little more appealing and hip. Don't any of you remember when you were 20 years old and how every little thing embarrassed you, especially when you were around the opposite sex?? Give the guy a break... fcol!

Coop - take a look at the Airfit P-10. If you aren't a mouth breather, it just may fit the bill... um, nose.

My thoughts are primarily with the (presumably) "peer pressure" that's making him feel that way OR his lack of cahones to tell them to go F-O and learn to feel at ease with his therapy.
What if the issue was crutches or wheelchairs or some other physical challenge that was obvious at times other than when he slept?
