When reading the Onion...you expect that crap. That was not sarcasm...that was being downright mean. If you think crap like that is cute, we don't need you here.
+1

When I read that I thought what a A**Hole Heart Jumping is. Now I see that I am thinking correct.

I'm glad you agree that telling someone to post their autopsy results was mean. Good to see you get it now.

I said I would leave because of the rudeness to someome who posts something that differs from what the"Gods" of this forum believes. Didn't say I wouldn't lurk. But the replies in this post re-affirm what I said earlier... You people are brutal. Instead of giving hope and constructive information, you mock someone who is struggling with this afflication JUST AS YOU ARE. Why do you have to be so mean?... I think you are not getting enough sleep.

Truth is painful. Posting that it cured ones sleep apnea without having a sleep study is delusional. It has been shown over and over again that this surgery causes more problems down the road. I am sure his surgeon thinks it is a success. "The operation was a success too bad the patient died, but at least his estate will pay the bill"

Oh and I don't have any problems with my cpap therapy. It is the easiest and most successful therapy I have ever needed.

I would think posting your own autopsy, would be painful, I've heard most people don't even surive it. Jim

I guess some people just don't interpret sarcasm and satire well, I was not making a "joke" or being "mean". I was speaking out against the meanness on display, it was not meant to be funny, it was meant to be sarcastic, a caricature of the other comments being made telling him to post his autopsy results, and the subsequent defense. All of which were done under the BS guise of "telling the hard truth" when what it really was, was being horribly cruel. And I made it super obvious, which is why several people responded in a way that indicated they instantly got it, even black spinner who disagreed with me and thought my analogy was off base clearly got my point.

Honestly, I don't know what your issue is, I was agreeing with you, but expressing it with sarcasm. Not funny, not mean. Sarcasm. There's no need for people to mistreat people like the thread starter. People should be happy for him and if they genuinely care politely warn him to make sure and have another sleep test. Which hopefully his doctors have already encouraged him to do. He's obviously fought this for years.

Damn, some of these folks have me so paranoid now I don't know if I should be laughing at that or not. I still think you're being a jerk in this thread towards the OP, but I did laugh .

People have and they are still jumped on. At first I simply pointed out that he couldn't have had a sleep study it was too close to the operation. Still get jumped on. Truth is never appreciated. People want to be told with some many qualifiers that you can't tell what they are actually saying.

I can only think that you are a very young man. The majority of us fall into that older category and the majority would not get your type of "sarcasm". This is not the Onion. May I tactfully suggest that you keep this in mind in the future.
