They still don't have an answer
Re: They still don't have an answer
Tough love here.
They do have the answer and had it 2 MONTHS ago......but they lost it. Wake up and realize you will never get your report. Get a new sleep study and quit your whining. You are wasting your time chasing after something that will never be caught. So put your big boy pants on and do something about getting a new sleep study at a different lab.

You want to inspire people to persevere?Enchanter wrote: At this point, just hoping to inspire people and show them that perseverance is still necessary...
Please get off the stage and stop hogging the spotlight already; you're a really bad repetitive joke. You've had a donated machine and masks for months now; but instead of persevering with therapy, you only excuse yourself from using them. That's not the kind of perseverance we advocate around here.
The pity-poor-me routine was played out long ago.

Veni, vidi, Velcro. I came, I saw, I stuck around.

In that case, this would be my advice to him:

(But it will be ignored, like all the other advice he's been given here already... *shrug*)

Not to sound like a broken record, but I wanted to remind folks of Kaiasgram's previous advice to not respond to E.
Thanks.
Thanks.

This is bull. There is no plan b or c - cpap therapy is the answer for sleep apnea.Enchanter wrote:This just shows why you cannot rely on CPAP therapy for sleep apnea and need Plan B and C. You just may never get your therapy, no matter your intentions.
An adult takes charge of their life and does what's necessary to get things done.
When getting a new machine though the system wasn't working fast enough, I went on craigslist and bought my own damn machine to hold me over.
When one mask didn't work, I bought or borrowed others until I found one that did work. There are lots of masks on craigslist.
I didn't ask endless questions or play "what if" games or cry "woe is me!". I just got what the hell I needed and used it - every... single... night...
If you are a person who allows themselves to be jerked around, then guess what? You will be jerked around!
Do you wonder why it always happens to you? Because you let it.

why are you wasting everybody's time by replying to someone, against professional advice, that won't listen to you?yaconsult wrote:This is bull. ... let it.Enchanter wrote:This just shows why you cannot rely on CPAP therapy for sleep apnea and need Plan B and C. "In fact I'm convinced that people's staying engaged with him on this forum -- no matter how well intended -- is keeping him distracted and disinclined to seek the help he really needs and which no one here is in a position to provide. I have compassion for his suffering and I feel strongly that the most helpful thing all of us can do at this point is to draw the line, stop responding to all his posts, put an end to these dysfunctional circular dialogues, and hope that he will then turn his attention to getting the appropriate professional (medical and mental health) care. Re: They still don't have an answer
With all (and it's a lot) due respect... I think we get that advice was given some time ago by a member who works in mental health (tho' in what capacity is not completely clear), and it's always good to consider following it. However, this is a public forum, not run or funded by any given member, and if some choose to respond to a poster's notes against one other member's advice, I think they should not continue to be chided for doing it. We all have opinions, some based on what we might have learned through work ourselves (I'm sure at least a few here have had some sort of training in similar issues), and shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable about expressing them, however ill advised they might be. This is not meant to condone the kind of nastiness that has come and gone on the issue, just a personal thought about open forums.

feeding into e's bullshit has been tremendously disruptive for the forum, and has benefited exactly ZERO people, e included.
I do have to hand it to apneaboard, when he tried pulling the same shit over there, and kaiasgram posted her opinion, the people there *LISTENED*. and quit feeding him.

I hope it is ok to agree. I only have made a few post. Open forum to me means you can say what you think is true.
Re: They still don't have an answer
of course it's fine to agree, however you might want to go back and read the last few months worth of turmoil that this subject has caused, and the thousands of posts, many acrimonious, which have lead to exactly zero improvement for the OP, before you pick how you feel about the whole thingWorldwar2 wrote:I hope it is ok to agree. Re: They still don't have an answer
Yes I read your post. I might even agree. but why do folks say same thing over, over, over? Say once go away. If man comes back he will then be talking to himself. every body then wins. no reason to say hurt and nasty words to any person. In outside world to.
