Pure speculation. Let the OP answer the question please.

The logic is failing also. If he paid $2000 - 6000 deductible last year, he should be in a position to pay for a machine and mask this year. But again, this is just pure speculation. Let the OP answer the question.

Luckily you weren't monitoring the door at the time.
well, I'd say we're all lucky that you're back now to tell us all how to behave!

Since the OP, as many before, has left the building I think the original topic is no longer relevant....soooooo back to the lecture:

"there's plenty of opportunity to get in the door before asking questions that have been answered a bazillion times already". The problem with that is that he only asked it once. He is being punished for what all the other newbies did ......'once'.

It is also a bit shocking to read someone telling someone what they could afford.

I like 49ers suggestion of being civil ..... until you know whether they deserve to be insulted or treated like idiots.

stepping off soapbox.....carry on.

Oh great. Another moral arbiter with too much time on the hands. One (49er) was more than enough.

C.Porter wrote:Hi Everyone,

Recently after undergoing a couple sleep studies my ENT wrote me a script for a cpap machine. I contacted a DME provider who told me my insurance would cover a machine on a ten month rent to own plan. Because the new billing year just started and my mediocre insurance has an extremely high deductible, it would cost me 85 dollars a month or roughly 900 dollars. That's way more than I can afford so I was wondering, what are some more cost effective options for acquiring a cpap machine?

Thank you in advance to anyone who offers a suggestion.
I wonder if the OP is still reading the replies.......(or if he/her ever did) < sigh >
Three pages later and not a word from him/her.

My guess, after your poking a stick at everyone who disagrees with your fluff approach to newbies, is that you can manage that without our assistance, if you want. Pugsy isn't here with her Zen, which is too bad. But there's more than one way to wash/lick a window. As there is more than one way to greet a guest or friend in my home. Usually I save the swearing, foot stomping and siccing of dogs til at least the second visit.

I believe I found the forum around February or March of 2005 and finally joined in July.......then it was another week to ten days before I made my first post.

Maybe some people are having a hard time realizing it's actually 2015. I know I looked at the dates and thought "2 years" and then it hit me that it's now 2015........nope.......it's 3 years.

Actually, I no longer drink, as hard as that may be to believe. Don't drink, quit smoking years ago (unless I'm on fire). Booo-riiiing.
