Last couple of nights have been strange, more visits to the girls room than normal. Also wickedly bad headaches each morning. Will wait and see if things improve over the next couple of nights (problems could be caused by work stress)

I think my machine was MADE in Australia! So was my S9 Autoset!
When the two years were up, I never noticed any change. Odd.
I hope your work situation improves--or you are able to make it better.

What is the machine set at? What AHI is being reported? Have you downloaded any software yet?

The tools to solve the question WHY you are suffering disruptive sleep and headaches is at hand, you'll have to reach out and use them.

I've downloaded SH and will look at my results tomorrow. My settings are 9-20 (the CPAP I had was set to 10).

Your answers should be visible in the Sleepyhead details once you look. Great that you are taking the initiative to take an active role in your therapy and health! Let us know what you see and if you have questions.

Thanks for the offer of looking at my results Sleeprider, much appreciated. Here is a screenshot from last night

<a href="http://s200.photobucket.com/user/happyr ... 5.png.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa64 ... 132935.png" border="0" alt=" photo screenshot-20150116-132935.png"/></a>

Looking at the results, I should probably raise the minimum pressure to 10. But I don't understand much else

Maggie, What I saw on your screen shots were lots of leaks which look like they are causing wake ups. I'm not really familiar with the Icon and sensawake but it looks like you spent a lot of time there. Your AHI of 0.42 with only 2 hypos. is good. How are you sleeping? Have you been working on leaks?

Thanks for the reply OkyDoky. I am not conscious of any leaks, but of course that doesn't mean they aren't happening, just that I don't remember them. It is quite possible that my mouth dropped open which would cause a leak, I've tried using a chin strap, but I kept pulling it off in my sleep. I will be switching soon to a hybrid mask which should mitigate the jaw problem.

My sleep is ok, I always wake up feeling tired, some days more tired than others. I've only had that refreshed feeling once, when I had my first titration. According to my sleep study reports I very rarely, if at all go into REM sleep, which I understand is the restorative sleep cycle.

That is some pretty impressive large leak, that might be obscuring AHI events that can't be detected. Your AHI looks great, what we can see of it. There are just a few Hypopneas, there are no flow limitations and you are practically running CPAP at 9 cm all night.

I'm at a bit of a loss as I have no familiarity with SA events, but if these are arousals, then I can see why you are taking trips to the little girl's room at night. If they are snores, you need more pressure. Someone else will know.

You need to get the leaks under control. Nothing wrong with the AHI as we see it, but leaks are most likely what is waking you up and stimulating urine production.

I am wondering why you have the top pressure so high? Not a criticism but learning the ropes here.

When I had my pressures higher I always seemed to spend much of the night at the highest pressure and had many leaks and higher AHI than I do with lower pressures. I am sleeping much better with pressure of 9-11 than I did when it was 9-16.

Her range is only 9-10. The scale makes it look like a lot, but many of us work with much greater pressure ranges and much higher pressure.

I was looking at this..."I've downloaded SH and will look at my results tomorrow. My settings are 9-20 (the CPAP I had was set to 10)."

If you look under the AHI number it does look like min 9 max 20 but the scale only shows 9-10 I presume because she isn't going any higher.
