Post by cjm » Fri Nov 07, 2014 1:53 pm

I have candidia in my mouth. it is a form of thrush. my dentist suggested it my be from my cpap mask. I had to try 7 masks before I found one that I could use. I also, have mouth sores like canker too. does anyone else have this problem and how did they solve it. I was on meds from dentist for this problem. however, I still have some canker sore.

Welcome. Please sign up for an ID and fill in the equipment on your profile so we can help you better. There's a link in my signature line to help you do that.

Cleaning your equipment really well might be a good idea, but I think Candida is sort of everywhere anyway. It's usually something wrong with you, not simple exposure to the fungus that makes the difference between infection and non-infection.

Do some research, but be careful, there is a !!!LOT!!! of quackery out there about Candida. Any kind of herbal or "natural" remedy is almost certainly pure quackery if someone's selling it.

Antibiotics can increase your risk of infection, as can various diseases and medical conditions.

What mask? You haven't given us any information so far.

Unlikely that it's connected to CPAP usage. Do some searching and homework.
