I think I might be a real boy now. But I'm still wrapping my head around the fact that I'd never noticed before this thread that Granny has a sense of humor.

Very scary as a huge storm and bitter temperatures are right around the corner. I'm very happy to be quarantining in my heated home.

I checked on Wayne this morning. Wayne is a 20-year Navy retiree and former security guard. Wayne traveled mainly in Asia and Africa with the Navy. The farthest he got was Australia. The most dangerous assignment was going into Mogadishu.

Wayne gets a military retiree check and Social Security. Wayne is an urban outdoorsman. He said he has enough money to buy meals until his next check is deposited. Wayne doesn't drink or use drugs. Wayne will try to sleep in McDonald's until the bitter cold passes. I checked with the McDonald's manager. They will stay open 24 hours through the holidays. They usually do not kick Wayne out. Wayne is a gentle soul who has never caused problems.
