There was a tent pitched under the overpass across the street a couple days ago.
There are a couple campers parked on the street nearby.
People living in some--it's cold enough, maybe I should call the police
and ask them to do a welfare check.
There is either "no room at the inn"--or no "fun" allowed at the shelters.

I don’t know if you got any of those tornadoes but if that’s the case an underpass is a safe spot.

I would imagine if they have been there for several days that changes the equation a bit.

There are now large numbers of folks who live full time in their rigs and if I could I would also and it has nothing to do with vacancies or drugs.

I genuinely wished you well and a Merry Christmas when you got confused and thought I didn’t have the right to ask a newbie to check pms where I offered a free mask. I am here learning-like the time I asked directly three different ways which data point to use for setting low pressure and you waged war. I still wear a mask in public buildings, but during this weather that feels really cold to us Californians (mid 30's!) I don't rip it off the minute I go outside. I find it kind of nice keeping my face and breath warm. Cold air can be an asthma trigger for me, so the mask helps that too.

And like Pale Rider (knock wood) I haven't had Covid, or flu, or RSV, or even a cold since the pandemic started. I'd like to keep it that way.
