Im setting this up for the wife. I went to the profile to put in her machine and can not find it. Its a Respironics REMstar Pro, DOM, The humidifier is System One Htd Humid, DOM. So does anyone know what it is? How do I refer to it in the forums?

Add it to the comments section of the profile. It has been discontinued so it is no longer an active option.
Just add
PR System One Pro
to the comments line..look on the bottom of the blower and see if it says 450 or 460 and add that model number right after the word Pro.

Still don't know exactly how I did this, even if I did it twice. Think it just must take a few minutes for it to show up. Hope someone can take a look & tell me if anything is glaring out at them. And tons of thanks to all the wonderful people on this forum helping all us new hoseheads get thru the trials and tribulations of understanding and improving on our journey to deal with sleep apnea!

Gryhnd....the only thing I see that you could maybe improve upon would be leak management.

Are those leaks waking you up?

Since her model is not made anymore is it obsolete? Should we look for something newer and better? Whats better? Quieter, Better humidification? This one works off 12v 6.6 amps.
It has been discontinued but as long as it is working there is no urgent need to update.
The newer model didn't really change much except for cosmetic packing and some minor bells and whistles.
You can look up the Phillips Respironics DreamStation models to see what the new ones offer and they still offer the Pro model just like she is using.

Thanks Pugsy! The leaks don't wake me up. I do wake up if I need to adjust the headgear a bit if it shifts...that wakes me up. Will tape my mouth taonite & see wht my leaks look like tomorrow. How did you & larrylwill end up on this thread????

Larry is new to the forum and I guess didn't see how to create a topic of his own so he borrowed yours.
That's okay....not that big of a deal. You know how it is to be new and confused.
Now if he continues to ask multiple questions and it looks like things will get confusing then I may move his stuff or suggest he start a new thread of his own.

I hate trying to move posts....I usually end up with a bigger mess moving something than just letting it stay makes.
