Do a search on the phrase "It wasn't worth distinguishing", make note of who said it and what the context was.

Re: I suctioned air out my bum. I think it worked.
Don't Inhale, you will end up like the man who tried to do CPR on a drowned man in the ocean. A passer-by added some help by suggesting the drowned man first needed to be pulled onto the beach. The guy doing the CPR was only making the ocean level drop. JimDog Slobber wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 8:03 amNext time, instead of using a syringe, suck on the enema hose. That way, you'll be just like your post, full of crap.metallikat36 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2019 8:54 pmThe scientist in me had a funny idea to combat aerophagia. Attach a syringe to the end of an enema tube and stick it you-know-where.

DUMB, CRAZY, and DANGEROUS!
considering all that, maybe not so funny.

Re: I suctioned air out my bum. [update: don't do it]
Don't know what it says about me that I have found this thread entertaining.
On an oh-so-unflattering note, I used to have horrible belly bloating with all my digestive issues. Worked in a hospital emergency department on night shift and the nurse was always threatening to take me in the back room and insert a rectal tube so I could get some relief. I don't see inserting the enema tube of any more danger than that which normally exists when preparing for an enema. Don't see the need for suction though. If the hose opening hits a pocket of air it will release with no provocation. If you suction where there is no air pocket, I'd think one might find the tubing soon clogged.

Ya know, that was exactly my point earlier...

The syringe idea was just... ill thought out.

As for all the unsolicited puns, I think we really shouldn't scrape this particular barrel any further, because we've already reached the bottom.
Seriusly though, it has to stop, for the sake of our souls.

I thought the bottom was the END of the problem. But I see it was the thinking from the TOP that was full of stinky air.
