Re: I suctioned air out my bum. [update: don't do it]
I don't mind all the jokes. I was well open to concluding this is a bad idea. But no idea is too stupid to discuss, and rather than jokes, I would have better appreciated efforts to quantitatively describe risks.
The risks? Perforation? Indeed, risk from enemas of perforation and serious complication such as death is very high:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3641812/
This makes me think that any form of enema is categorically bad news except if you need it to save your life.
I am abandoning.

I'm not, you didn't say anything about the danger. that's pretty much my whole point.... Thanks for making it for me. IE I'm defending his right to post and not just be directly ridiculed. If you know something negative about the subject that's much more constructive then "your post is crap" I for one did not know about the perforation dangers (not that I was going to try it).Dog Slobber wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 10:23 amIf the OP is serious, then it is dangerous.nicholasjh1 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 9:35 am
He may or may not be joking, but there are some difficult subjects that need to be broached on the cpap board. Please refrain from directly shaming. I was willing to accept the jokes as fun, but to me this kind of post is just overboard. People need to talk about sexual dysfunction, farts, bowel discomfort, all sorts of things, and shaming responses are not needed nor wanted.
The risk of perforation or prolapse because of forces applied with a vacuum from a 300ML syringe can be serious.
Why are you defending posts encouraging people perform dangerous procedures on themselves?

Instead of Sleep apnea it should be called "Sleep deprivation, starving of oxygen, being poisoned by high CO2 levels, damaging the body and brain while it's supposed to be healing so that you constantly get worse and can never get healthy Apnea"

Unless he breeds, highly unlikely, I think the scientist he thought in him came out with the gas. JimChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 7:02 amNot at all. You are a danger only to yourself.metallikat36 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2019 8:54 pmAnd I await your accusations of being a danger to humanity.

Just as Intelligent Design has no place in science class, and Anti-vaxxing has no place in Biology; sticking a tube up your hoop and applying suction has no place in a serious aerophagia discussion amongst lay people.
