machines *DO NOT... NOT!* increase pressure in response to leaks.
they increase pressure in response to flow limitations, snores, obstructive apneas and hypopneas.

in fact, robysue has trace analysis showing machines REDUCING pressure to get the mask to seal again.
cathyf's pressure only hit the 24lpm limit where the machine even *starts* to care for .083% anyway.
her leaks increased because she didn't have a great seal and pressure went up in response to a stimulus that the machine responds to.

in fairness, it's hard to see without zooming in.
the machines do *compensate* for leaks by increasing the base flow rate to maintain pressure, however.
