For some reason last night I couldn't use my machine because every time I would turn it on the humidifier chamber would pop open. I checked the water and it was fine, I checked to make sure the water chamber was placed in correctly and it was. I looked over the manual and couldn't find anything about this, so I though I would ask here if anyone had ever had this happen.
TIA

Re: Humidifier chamber keeps popping open
When you close the lid, make sure the little slide button is all the way to the left.
It usually needs a little nudge to get there. The lid will pop open if the catch is anywhere but all the way to the left.
Been there--many times.

I agree with the frog...I have had the same problems. Just make sure that the catch clicks when you close it.chunkyfrog wrote:When you close the lid, make sure the little slide button is all the way to the left.

Re: Humidifier chamber keeps popping open
Mine's a little finicky as well. Sometimes it doesn't want to latch.
Take out the water tank and see if the humidifier latches properly without the water tank inside.
Check the clear silicone rubber gasket inside the humidifier lid for problems. Look for any irregularities inside the humidifier.
The lid does detach from the humidifier, so maybe it could be misaligned. Warning, it can be difficult to reattach if you detach it.
Be sure the water tank is all snapped together properly.

Re: Humidifier chamber keeps popping open
That latch does appear to be the weakest link in an otherwise well-designed system
